Dr. Lavender is both personable and very technically excellent. I have had melanoma as well as many basal cell surgeries with Dr. Lavender and each has been comfortable and professionally done. Dr. Lavender administered the initial numbing injections herself and she is very good at it. I highly recommend her.

Everything was pretty much painless.They only had to do 2 incision but I was there for 4 hours.

Everything seemed to operate smoothly from the reception desk to the surgical room. Dr. Lavender and her physician assistant worked very well together and seemed to anticipate each others steps in the surgical process.Every thing was handles professionally including after care instruction by the physician assistant.The wait time was a bit longer than I expected but it was a busy day and I will assume some difficult and/or lengthy procedures preceded mine.

I met with Dr. Levender in consultation prior to my scheduled Mohs procedures and I immediately felt a calmness in her discussion with me regarding her approach to the lesions on my leg. This was very reassuring to me. She was very professional and provided a detailed explanation of her approach to my surgery as to which ones would be addressed first and why. Dr. Levender also explained that some areas would have to be left open to heal and some could possibly be sutured (with that decision made at the time of the surgery). Her technique and her expertise in Mohs surgery are unquestionable as she was open and thorough in her discussion with me during the procedures keeping me informed step-by-step throughout each of the procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Levender to anyone who requires Mohs surgery.
