This was by far the worst experience I’ve had seeing a specialist. I went to see Dr Bleckner due to some pain I was having, upon which he scheduled an MRI. The insurance rejected the MRI due to “the supporting data belonging to a different patient! I spent over 3 hours on calls over 6 weeks following up on this and trying to determine a next step, without which nothing seemed to be happening. Finally after discussion with the insurance, it was determined that PT was required before an MRI could be scheduled. The Dr insisted that I needed to go back in to visit for an evaluation before he could write a PT order as it had been so long since he saw me! So I should pay for two dr visits and over 6 weeks of no action in order to get a PT order? I was surprised that an MRI was the first course of action recommended but went with it, assuming the dr knew what he was doing. I was wrong. What a waste of my time and a laughable degree of incompetence.

Dr. Bleckner and his team have taken care of several injuries for me -- and I've always received high-quality, thoughtful care and treatment. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the assistants to Dr. Bleckner himself, treats me kindly and with respect, and I know I'm getting high-quality care. Their physical therapy practice is the only one I trust in the DMV. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience, and I've been in many, many times over many, many years.

Dr. Bleckner operated on my left elbow several years ago after a fall. He was my "third opinion" because I didn't think I needed surgery. He made me feel so comfortable and good before surgery. IIwas very concerned about having surgery because I am left-handed and a writer. H did an excellent job with my elbow...5 years later, absolutely no problems.

Dr. Bleckner has been my orthopedic specialist since 2012. His expertise in this field of medicine is outstanding. From surgery on my right knee to repair a shattered kneecap to other general orthopedic issues I have counted on him and his staff to bring me back from my injuries to living a normal life style.
