Sunshine Smiles Dental Care's Online Review Report Card

Had an appointment on the books for months to get a cleaning done. I arrived for the scheduled appointment a few minutes before my scheduled time, and was told that they cancelled my appointment. Very disappointed in the lack of professional courtesy. Follow-Up to Business’s Reply: There were no circumstances beyond your control given for cancelling my appointment. I noticed that in most of your negative review replies, you make excuses for the negative feedback rather than accepting responsibility for a customer’s poor experience. Maybe the better business response is to accept responsibility, fix the problem, and instill confidence that it won’t happen again. Your reply only tells me that the same exact thing can happen next time (and any other time I have an appointment), but it’s apparently not going to be your fault for wasting your customers’ time by failing to honor their scheduled appointments.

Sunshine Smiles is The best. Their business name speaks for itself. When i first walked in i was greeted nicely. The office is clean, The front desk receptionist was super nice and informative, Rachel was amazing. She explained everything to me, she always checked to make sure i was okay while cleaning, cleaned my teeth really good. I was so amazed. My doctor was amazing as well i love how informative everyone was. They even gave me a goodie bag with a toothbrush and toothpaste which i thought was so nice. Haven’t gotten one of those in years so it definitely made me smile. Sunshine smiles is definitely a dentist office i recommend for everyone.

The dentist here seriously lacks people skills. I've updated my review because I was left unsettled. Although the hygienist was great, unfortunately, my interaction with the dentist prompted me to seek out another office. My new dentist is great. Previous review: Rachel, the hygienist who did my cleaning, gave me the best cleaning I've had in a very long time. She was thorough, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! I'm greatly appreciative.

I had an extremely positive experience at Sunshine Smiles. Had a cleaning, x-rays, and cavity drilled and filled. It was a state of the art experience for me from "around the mouth" x-rays that discovered the cavity to a device that kept my mouth open and tongue out of the way while filling was happening. Also my gum was numbed before the shot of novocane so there was no pain. Would recommend them to everyone. George French, Takoma Park

The doctor is not nice.She selects dental insurances(doesn’t take specific coverages).Makes a way to make u sign extra out of pocket $ even if u have good insurance.I think she also presses the receptionists to do difficult tasks.
