Cyrus Hamidi's Online Review Report Card

The worst dr around!!!! waited 2 hours in his office and he spend less than 20 minutes with me. Also you can hear EVERYTHING that is said in the other rooms with other patients.

I love his staff. Dr Hamidi himself is rude and puts his personal comments where they don't belong!!!!!!!!

Dr. Hamidi is good physician. He and his staff are personable and professional.

Dr. Hamidi takes the time to know his patients - hat is rare. He is attentive, listens well and is decisive. He was very responsive with my latest test results when there was something that needed follow-up. I'm very happy in his care.

My father who has dementia is Dr. Hamidi's patient. I make, take and attend every visit. I appreciate with covid them understanding that I need to be in exam room. As far as reception I want to give Katie a 5 star review. She's always been pleasant, very helpful and professional. Felicia on the other hand, not so much. Now onto Hamidi. I once sat in the hall since my father wanted to speak with Dr about something rather personal. I could hear the entire conversation and heard Dr Hamidi arguing with my father telling him that he must watch FoxNews and is brainwashed. This discussion alone went on for at least 5 minutes. Obviously they have a difference of opinion about politics. I found it very unprofessional for a doctor to berate an elderly Korean War Marine Veteran, and retired police officer with dementia. He's not being paid to argue his political views, he's being paid to provide medical care. I believe he is a knowledgeable physician but feel he doesn't always put my father's health first. For example I was taking my dad every few months because he has diabetes. He also has an issue with wax build-up in his ears. Dr. Hamidi would do the usual exam, listen to lungs and look in ears. Would tell us he has a lot of wax, like every single visit, so we know this. Would tell me he can't clean his ears I need to make another appointment because it's billed differently. He would give me a script for bloodwork and off we'd go. It was hard arranging time off of work for the extra office visit for the ear cleaning. Dr. Hamidi was usually on top of calling me about the bloodwork results except for one time. He's usually good with staying on top of renewing his prescriptions. I've only had to call a few times to advise the office that the prescriptions needed to be refilled. Due to covid it had been longer than usual since our in office appointment and getting bloodwork. My dad was complaining of double vision so I made an appointment thinking it's medical. My dad sees a glaucoma specialist every 3 months and was brought up at the last appointment with him and he brushed it off, didn't seem concerned. However the double vision was becoming more frequent. Our appointment was 330p, and we are accustomed to waiting 30 min, up to an hour after that to be seen. When Dr. Hamidi finally came into exam room at 405p he seemed very concerned with the complaints of double vision stating it could be strokes and would need an MRI of his brain. He typed a lot and made my dad follow his finger with his eyes. He asked if he sees and eye doctor and I reminded him that he gets his eyes thoroughly checked every 3 months. He wrote down an optomoligist name and number and said to call her to have his eyes checked and was rushing us out, spent maybe 5 minutes with us. I asked if he was going to write a script for bloodwork at least, thinking since it had been awhile and wouldn't vitals and bloodwork be necessary for a diagnosis? He said, oh no, that's "another" visit, this visit is for the double vision, plus "she" (the optomoligist) may want to do different bloodwork. Then he opened the door and walked out and I was speechless as we just left, appointment over! I feel he cares more about getting paid by insurance company for multiple appointments than the health of my father. This appointment is billed this way and that one that way. Not concerned that an almost 90 yr old man with dementia has to be adjitated with multiple appointments and frustrated with having to wait in exam room for extended times to be rushed. I will be finding a new primary care. The only reason I stayed this long is the convenience of the location of his office from my dad's residence. My father has been complaining that he doesn't care for him for a few years.

Dr. Hamidi is the best PCP I’ve ever seen! He is thorough in all of my visits for the past 2 years. He went above and beyond to help me get a prescription savings card when my insurance wouldn’t cover a necessary diabetes medication.

I and my family have been seeing Dr. Hamidi for 23 years. He is personable, is interested in you and has a wide ranging in depth knowledge of medicine. Two and half years ago my wife had appendicitis with complications. It was Dr. Hamidi who found the unresolved issues other doctors had missed. Mainly due to his efforts she made a complete recovery.

He’s okay. Can be moody. Has serious John Hopkins issues. Staff is bottom of the barrel. The one positive is that you can get a visit pretty quick.

I recently moved to the area and needed a new doctor. He was so incredibly kind, patient, and helpful that, as someone who is nervous about seeing doctors, I felt perfectly safe. There is a bit of a wait to see him once you're taken back, but that's to be expected, since he's the only doctor at the practice.
