I brought my mother to a rheumatology appointment on November 15. I would like to compliment Dr. Akrithi Garren- who is not only knowledgeable and great in her understanding of my mother's rare disease, but also warm, loving and fun! Her bedside manner was so wonderful for my mother! THANK you , Dr. Garren! The check-in staff was also very good and caring with my 90 year old blind mother! A shout-out to them, too!

I went to your bel air urgent care today and saw PA Matthew Knight. After discussing why I was there, he said " you need to be admitted". I discussed my options with my huband and told the PA that i would prefer to go to Franklin Square. He said he would make arrangements for me to be admitted and that my name would be on the board that I was on my way. That was at 1:30pm yesterday. I sat in the ER for 13 hours b4 being brough back to be14 hours later to be examined only to be told there was NO REASON TO ADMIT ME! REALLY? Now you are going to charge me and my insurance for a ct scan that I could have done near my home! What a SCAM! BE ASSURED THAT MY INSURANCE HAS BEEN CONTACTED AS WELL AS THE MARYLAND STATE MEDICAL BOARD AND THE STATE ATTORNEYS OFFICE. This is a practice where you take advantage of vuneriable individuals who at this time are having a hard time making ends meet! I will never use any of your services again!

I have been waiting for over 1 hour to speak to someone in the corporate office regarding their protocol for changing prescriptions. My husband’s blood pressure is high and he already waited 4 days for an appointment but the prescription given by the doctor yesterday isn’t covered by insurance. We were told by the doctors office this morning that it could take 12 to 48 hours before they can give a new prescription because they are seeing patients. That’s fine I’ll just tell his body not to have a stroke because it’s their protocol to wait. Actually we are paying for the prescription out of pocket because their solution to follow their protocol isn’t really a viable one. Gotta love our healthcare.

The doctors within the MEDSTAR Health network are excellent. My chosen physician Dr. Veronica Epstein, Adult Medicine, practices at Union Memorial Hospital which is across the street from my home. My husband sees Dr. Carl Sperling, also a MEDSTAR physician, at Good Samaritan Hospital. The MEDSTAR reputation is well known and respected. We appreciate their vigilance and proximity as well as their availability for our medical needs. We are thankful for this.

I had an MRI this afternoon at the Bel Air Campus and felt fully at ease upon meetingTechnologist Diana. She walked me through the entire process in a warm and friendly manner and with such compassion! I had no anxiety whatsoever. She was encouraging throughout the scan which continued to help me relax. I also must note, there has never been a time, since being a patient at Medstar, that has disappointed me. Everyone is so welcoming! In fact, let me also give a shout-out to receptionist Kiera! She greeted me with such a wonderful welcoming smile as I registered today. So yes, my experience today at Medstar Radiology Network was exceptional! Thank you Diana and Kiera!

Laplata branch walk in clinic dr.Hussein was very rude after waiting 2 hours to be seen . Basically only concerns was around covid vaccine and covid test . She said there no common cold anymore it’s all covid symptoms now .

The “country club” of surgical facilities! The staff, nursing, anesthesia and PT are all super stars. They took excellent care of me with my recent hip replacement. They were all very kind, helpful, attentive and patient. The facility is immaculate.Dr. Boucher is amazing! He has replaced 3 of my joints so far and his work is miraculous. My recovery each time has been swift and complete.

Absolutely terrible practice. Everytime I have gone there is year there has always been some conflict with the administration at the front office. I went in today to go for a tetanus shot I already got a month ago. I had to take off work to come. Terrible communication. The staff is passive aggressive. The sectrectaries in the front are unwelcoming and have a poor work ethic. When I bring up a problem all they do is try to shift the blame unto me or away from themselves. They are selfish, ignorant and prideful. They have misplaced my paper work on several occasions. I normally don't post things like this and I am certainly do not one hold a grudge against people but I am a firm believer in the 3 strike rule. This is the third time I have been inconvenienced by these people and I for one intend to express myself to multiple levels of medstar until I see some changes.

Joe Griffin is my therapist. I am having sever back issues to the point where I was having trouble walking. With his help and encouragement I am able to perform most of the daily functions. Joe is a therapist who is truly concerned about his patients welfare and designs the plan with what the patient can tolerate. Gradually adding exercises to the routine. He is a good listener and very patient with those he is helping. I recommend Joe highly.
