List of Aminur R. Khan's Reviews
Dr. Khan is very thorough and knowledgeable. I have been diagnosed with multiple rare autoimmune diseases for the last 25 years. He knew everything about the diseases. Right away I was very comfortable with him because he knew what he was talking about. I have sat in quite a few Dr. Offices of other gastroenterologists and when I left I knew I wouldn't be returning! The staff are professional and accommodating. Very happy I found this practice.
Dr Kahn has been my Dr since 2010 when he found my stage 3 colorectal cancer. He's always been great. When switching insurance I called and asked if they took my insurance never letting me know that they were no longer taking my insurance as of January 1st. I've been trying to get an appointment since November 15th. Now today 12/20 finally talking to someone(they do not answer when calling for appointments) . Told they don't take my insurance. Im devastated is an understatement. Im so upsetThe lady was quick to get off the phone with me because I was so upset.
My husband and I have been a patient of Dr Khan for over 12 years He's great the office is efficient we love them
Dr kahn is great, his office staff is the worst ive ever experienced. Spending weeks trying to get a pre auth for a prescription he wrote me. Multiple attempts from my insurance company to contact them for the authorization. They never answer the phone, you just leave a message and hope you get a callback, which never comes. I wouldn't wast your time with them, and try to find a dr with better staff.
Prevalent theme expressed in reviews is the total lack of professionalism from office staff. Frightening that such bad patient service and care has been permitted to continue.
Very professional and prompt. Dr. Khan always takes his time with you.
Repeatedly annoyed with the staff’s request to email them sensitive information....they have no way to upload documents to their patient portal....inexcusable .......otherwise, Dr. Khan is great.
Appointment with Dr Khan was fine. Made a recommendation and suggested to try something for a week or so then call back and let him know if it worked. If not we would take the next step. Called back THREE times, left a message each time.... NEVER received a call back.
Dr Kahn has a arsenal of potential treatments for many conditions. He is honest and only does tests and procedures that are medically necessary. He works to help control cost for patient medications. He has gone to great lengths to find ways to improve my quality of life.
Poor patient care. I encountered a flare up and it took over two weeks to get in contact with his office and another week before I actually heard from Dr. Khan. As always he seemed oblivious and unconcerned to what was going on and where I was in my care. After continuous complaints of pain (one months time) Dr. Khan finally ordered an MRI. It then took 20 days of my following up with his office to get my MRI results. This continued on for another month with trying to coordinate the receipt of my medication, which I was supposed to start three months prior but again, his office dropped the ball on submitting my prescription. He has remained unapologetic about the continued negligence and tried to smooth over his staff dropping the ball by quoting me the date of my initial dose Rx submission as the date of my maintenance Rx submission as if I wouldn’t know the difference. I disclosed this experience to another physician of mine and he also complained about the poor communication of Dr. Khan and his office staff. Dr. Khan by far has been the worst physician I have encountered in my life. His lack of concern is disheartening and the carelessness of his office staff is down right unprofessional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
