Choosing a reputable neurosurgeon to undertake a massive five (5) hour spinal fusion surgery has its rewards and benefits. After getting a second opinion from Dr. Benjamin R. Cohen at his private practice in Garden City Long Island about my injuries from an automobile accident, I was convinced that he was astutely knowledgeable, exceptionally qualified and absolutely the right neurosurgeon to alleviate and/ or cure my intense back pain that radiated down both of my legs. My recent successful and massive five (5) hour Far Lateral Interbody Fusion (FLIF) procedure performed by Dr. Cohen at NYU's Winthrop Hospital in Mineola Long Island demonstrates that his skills and hands are from God. Everyday after surgery, he visited me and monitored my recovery progress like a family member. My six (6) day stay in the post-operative surgical ward at NYU was exceedingly great from the food, atmosphere and bedside manners of all hospital staff. All staff under Dr. Cohen's tutelage at the hospital and employed at his private office, attended to my needs and overall recovery goals with synchronized precision. Dr. Benjamin R. Cohen is the crème de la crème of neurosurgeons that I personally know and the only one I recommend first to family and friends members with all types of back pain.
