List of David M Saltzberg's Reviews
Dr. Saltzberg was understanding and helpful.
Dr. Saltzberg is a wonderful, caring gastroenteritis. He’s an expert in his field and we highly recommend him.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor-truly horrid! He walked in with a young man (who went immediately to the computer and started typing) and said this is "so-and-so" who is going to be taking notes. We were in a tiny room. Dr. S stands by the door-I was seated-and starts asking me about my symptoms. (I'm supposed to discuss my most intimate and embarrassing conditions with some computer guy there??) Even without the "recorder" there, how uncomfortable to have to talk up to a doctor standing by the door! I walked out. I too am considering reporting this guy. I really don't get the high ratings. If you can't take your own notes, get out of the business!
Had colitis since 2001. Found Dr Saltzberg in 2013 and he changed my life. No more steroids and no flare ups since I met him. Can't say enough about him
I have been a patient of Dr. Salzberg for over 20 years. He is very responsive and works with his patients to their comfort level.
Don't waste your time! Was told that as physicians become elderly, they don't like to take cases that need time and thought! He walks into exam room twirling his stethoscope. Rude, condescending and interrupting constantly trying to impress you with his knowledge! DOES NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT!! DOES NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! $400 FOR A WASTED VISIT! HE DID NOT FOLLOW UP NOR DID HE CALL TO SCHEDULE NEEDED TEST AS PROMISED!
Dr. Saltzberg is the BEST! Not only is he knowledgeable but he truly cares about you as a person, not just a number on a piece of paper. Thank you so much for all you do.
Dr. Saltzberg literally has saved my life due to life-threatening complications due to undiagnosed Crohn's disease prior to my first visit with him in 2008. Since then, he has followed my health carefully with colonoscopies, twice-a-year follow-ups, appropriate meds, etc. In addition to resolving an unusual case of Crohn's, he also removed polyps that could have become cancerous if missed. He has also treated me for IBS--and resolved this condition for me for the first time in 30+ years. I highly recommend Dr. Saltzberg.
I saw this physician when I was admitted to ICU for a very serious medical condition. Fortunately, I recovered and had a follow up appointment with him several weeks later. Although he did not remember me, he had reviewed my chart and was prepared for the examination . I have seen him three or four times since for follow-up. He is conservative in his approach, which I value highly. Only negative is sometimes I feel rushed, he answers the questions he has time for but then stops when time is up.
I would give negative stars if I could. Going to be filing an official complaint about "Dr." Saltzberg. He is a doctor who supposedly specializes in GI conditions, and yet when I urgently scheduled a follow up after he did an endoscopy on me in the hospital, he said that the bloating, indigestion, diarrhea, and nausea that I began to experience after the procedure was due to "anxiety" and that there was nothing else he could do. My advice: see a different doctor if you want actual medical advice

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
