List of Deborah Bittar's Reviews
Do not trust this doctor with breastfeeding advice. She spouts off advice like, “your baby is using you as a pacifier” and “time your feedings”. As a first time mom, I followed her advice to the letter only to find out after a million unanswered questions that my baby had an undiagnosed tongue tie and wasn’t getting enough to eat. Needless to say, my subsequent children had a different pediatrician from the start. HORRIBLE practice.
My three kids have been coming to Dr. Bittar/Main Street Pediatrics since my oldest was born in 2000. She has supported us through every illness and developmental stage with the highest level of expertise, sensitivity, and professionalism. I trust her completely, and everyone should feel that way about their Pediatrician!
Dr Bittar is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her opinion. We have referred others to her as well. She has gone above and beyond for our children and that is hard to find in a doctor nowadays.
Our daughter, 18, has gone to Dr Bittar her entire life. Dr Bittar has been a great diagnostician, sympathetic and conservative in her approach. An invaluable coach to parents!
She is THEE best. My children have been patients of hers for the last 20years! She VERY honest and thorough.
Receptionist needs training on how to talk to patients.
Dr. Bittar and Hilary are wonderful! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!
My children are 17 and 15 and have been seen by Dr. Bittar since their birth. She is a very experienced pediatrician, an excellent diagnostician and has a straight forward, likable demeanor. I have been consistently satisfied with her treatment, advice and responsiveness. I recommend Dr. Bittar wholeheartedly and without hesitation. While there are some shortcomings with regard to staffing issues and office procedures, it would be a shame to discount this excellent physician because of them.
Dr. Bittar herself is a great doctor. Her staff is rude and unprofessional. Stopped seeing Dr. Bittar due to her staff being rude, unhelpful and uncooperative.
I agree with previous posters that the office staff is less than effective. However, this practice includes several other doctors and I don't think you can lay their efficiency and friendliness at one doc's feet. The paid phone consults are a decision of the practice, and one that is becoming quite common. Parking = non-issue; the building management controls it and I've never paid more than $3 anyway. If what you want in a pediatrician is great up-to-date diagnostic skill, a kid-friendly attitude appropriate to their age, a sharp memory, good follow-up, dedication to excellent care, good face-to-face communication, and appropriate step-ups in procedures when faced with serious problems, you can't do better than her. She has been our pediatrician for 16 years, treating my girls for everything from impetigo to anorexia, and I feel like we have been in very skilled hands. I highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
