Dr. Rotolo was rated one of Baltimore's 50 Top Docs by his peers, and by the experience that I had, that rating is warranted. I had surgery for an umbilical hernia, and my healing process was quick and nearly pain free. One of the reasons that he is so highly rated is his admin, Carol. She would not put up with anything less. As a patient, you will meet Carol, and you will follow her instructions, or she might throw the font ball from her IBM Selectric typewriter at you, by God.

Dr. Rotolo has now done two surgeries for me; a bowel re-section and then gall bladder removal. I recovered ver well from both surgeries and feel he dod an excellent jo. He is kind and takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all your questions. I have COMPLETE confidence in his abilities and highly recommend him. His secretary, Carole, is also very nice and efficient. Together, they make a very well-oiled machine and I have no complaints what so ever.

A simple hernia operation,I have a fem to fem bypass and he had to call in another doctor for info on how to proceed.When I went for a second follow up eight months later I still had pain.The DOCTOR told me it was a difficult operation,I was told differently by another top rated surgeon at Hopkins who stopped doing hernia ops, to only do vascular,this doct has well over one thousand operations to his credit and is highly regarded.Rotolo told me to go see a neurologist and be treated for pain,He wanted me to incur more expenses wheras he botched this operation.

My GYN highly recommended Dr. Rotolo after being diagnosed with appendicitis. Our initial meeting in the emergency room left me feeling confident in his care. My surgery was completed the following morning and I feel great. Even the incisions look good. Thanks Dr Rotolo to you and your staff for acting promptly and efficiently.
