Dr. Kelly Johnson and her staff were amazingly professional and caring throughout my vasectomy consultation and procedure. Dr. Johnson made me feel very comfortable about getting a vasectomy by providing several options for anesthesia of which I opted for general anesthesia. This was the best decision and removed much of the fear of the surgery. When I arrived to the facility her nursing staff was very accommodating providing me with pillows and blankets before the procedure and beverages afterwards to make me comfortable. The anesthesiologist, who’s name I cannot remember was very nice and answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with what would happen when the gas was administered and how I would feel after the procedure. I must say I had the best sleep of my life. I’m very thankful to Dr. Johnson and her staff at Chesapeake Urology and I will 100% recommend this procedure to everyone I know looking to get a vasectomy. Thank you ! Aaron

Dr. Kelly Johnson is very knowledgeable of women's health issues. She worked closely with me to resolve urinary problems after mutiple slings leakage and urgency. She is the best. Problems like this can be helped. Be consistent. Listen to Dr Johnson.

Dr Johnson was great, explained everything. Her manner is kind of dry, but that is OK with me. She was extremely competent and did a great job on my procedure. The office practice, on the other hand, is not good. CU seems disorganized, didn't tell me I had to pay for an office procedure up front, then lost my payment for two years and continued to dun me for the money I had already paid. When I asked for a statement they sent me a bill for the full amount including what I had already paid, with no detail to show whether there was a payment of not. They are a mess. When I looked at the records on line (after a couple of years now) I see that they entered incorrect info into my records - that they told me of a risk which they never mentioned to me. So - Dr Johnson - Great, Ches Ur, not even good.

I had a severe bladder prolapse that Dr. Johnson successfully "fixed". She explains everything in an easy to understand way and takes time with you. As with any specialist, it takes time to get appointments and the wait in the office is long.

I was referred to Dr. Johnson when I moved here from another State. I have been very happy with her expertise. She allows me sufficient time in speaking with me about my problems. She is a very caring doctor. Wait time is no longer then 15 minutes. The office staff is very likeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson. I see her in the Owings Mills' office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for many years and she has always been professional and extremely helpful to me in so many ways.

Dr. Johnson is a friendly female urologist which I wanted. She does take time to listen to me other times not so much about what is going on with me and my urinary problems. The office staff is pleasant and getting appointments that I want are pretty easy. The MA's are a different story.theyre nice to me but then give looks between each other & that's a bit degrading ,they think I don't see it. The wait time is absurd, time with the Dr and any procedure is 15 mins, I'm there 1.5-2 hours each X.

I would recommend this doctor, but not the office. Long waits, preoccupied office staff. Didn't answer phone call message for medical question.

I was referred to Dr Johnson for a painful kidney stone and was very happy in all my interactions with her. She explained things very clearly, and was very conservative in promised outcomes, which were excellent. She answered phone calls for follow up and did not seem to be rushing to get off of the phone. I was not so impressed with the staff of the practice she works in. Not that they are bad, but I guess I did expect introductions - maybe they had introduced themselves the previous visit, but the last thing you are thinking of when you have a kidney stone is remembering someone's name. Also the up front payment for s procedure didn't thrill me, since I have insurance and I think it should have been sent to insurance first. I still don't know what I paid for since they did not give me an itemized bill, just a receipt for the payment. So I would not hesitate at all to recommend Dr Johnson, but the support staff and office procedures could use some work.
