My husband and I met Dr. Ronald Sher this past week for a Cardiac PET Scan/Stress test. At first he was a bit aloof but that's because I immediately asked for results of the studies. Within 1 hour after taking these tests Dr. Sher called us at home. He was gentle in his communication and answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. He encouraged us to come in and discuss our options and gave us an appt the next day. He gave us quality time, he fully explained the procedure.

Dr scheduled a CT angiogram ( needlessly) and never called me back to give me the results. I transferred my file to a real cardiologist.

I saw Dr. Sher in 1997 - a younger patient comparatively speaking, but one with signficant family history for heart disease and significant symptoms. I was "blown off" by him. It was as if I could not possibly be accurate in my symptoms. Won't go back to him.

This doctor is very insensitive to one's needs. He does not let you tell what is bothering you and how you feel, he tells you how he wants you to feel.His bed sides manners are horrible. I would not recommend him to my dog.
