Dr. Pramanik is very knowledgeable, great communicator and wonderful surgeon . I had my cataract surgery done by him and I couldn't be more satisfied of the results. Thank you Dr. Pramanik and all of the office staff.

Cataract Laser Surgery

This is just my experience, however I want share it in an effort to help you make an informed decision regarding your eyes. In November of 2020 I had surgery to remove cataracts. I was given several options for surgery and lens replacement with corrective lenses. I was advised that if I chose the premium lens I would have corrected distance and near vision with the exception of super-small print (i.e. prescription bottles). In addition, it was explained that the middle-grade lens would correct my distance vision but I would still require reading glasses. I chose the premium lens. With a base price quoted of $6,500, the total investment came to over $7,600 (additional fees for the surgical center, anesthesiologist, etc. were not included in the price and, as I recall, not clearly explained). I would have been okay with the cost, and even the constant “floaters” that have resulted post-surgery, except that my resulting vision still requires corrective lenses for anything 3 feet or cl

Dr. Pramanik and his nurses were excellent with my treatment and care for my cataract. He also restored my husband’s vision.

I have several vision problems: high myopia, astigmatism with keratoconus, advanced glaucoma, dry eyes. Dr. Pramanik did bilateral complicated cataract surgery. I hardly believe the AWESOME results !!! Deepest thanks, Dr. Pramanik and excellent supportive staff. The world is now, not only beautiful but majestic!

My 21 year old son suffered a very traumatic eye injury when part of a firework hit him directly in the eye. After his initial surgery at Shock Trauma we transferred over to Dr. Pramanik on the advice of a friend. Thank God we did. He and his entire team, including the wonderful Dr. Vickery, have worked tirelessly over the past year to not only SAVE my son's eye but to bring back some vision. He has had multiple issues pop up and they deal with them immediately and always ensure a pain-free environment. We still have a ways to go, but I 100% believe that without Dr. P and his amazing team, my son would have lost his eye. They treat us with respect and kindness and they truly do care.

Dr. Pramanik has been my doctor for a few years now and I’m blessed to have him. His professional, takes the time to communicate, to address questions or concerns and has a awesome personality. Dr. Pramanik provides excellent treatment, however during the process educating as well. Plus his staff provides the best customer service and are professional too.

I appreciate the time Dr. Pramanik took to explain my cataract surgery. The procedure was of surprisingly short duration, and absolutely painless. I'm very grateful for my new vision, now needing no glasses/contact lenses after 68 years.
