Mr doctor Hand has made such a change in two specific areas in my life for the better. He is so kind, always gets back to me right away, listens patiently to me and is honestly one of the best doctors from around the country I have ever met with and shows consistently his professionalism.

I booked an appointment in October because I was told he was not taking new patients till February, after waiting for 3-4months for my appointment I end up finding out that someone canceled my apartment and put me with another doctor and I have to wait few months again if I wanted to see Dr Hand. That is just not right.

Dr. Hand is an awesome doctor. On my initial visit, as he reviewed my medical records, I offered him an "out" as I have a complicated medical history, and I'm sure that caring for someone like me must be a daunting task for a busy PCP. Still, he took me on as a patient, and I'm eternally grateful. While we didn't have an instant rapport, mainly because he told me the honest truth about my health that, frankly, I didn't want to hear, I soon felt comfortable speaking w/ him about all of my medical concerns. His advice that I research bariatric surgery prompted me to do so, resulting in improved health and self-esteem. Dr. Hand treats me as an individual, & acts as a kind of clearinghouse for various treatment plans of my specialists. Sometimes he's figured out the cause of symptoms I've had before my specialists did. He responds quickly to inquiries via a patient portal. The office staff is quick and professional, too, and I rarely wait more than 5 minutes to be seen.

Every time I needed a diagnosis, he would refer me to someone else. I felt he knew little about things and needed to refer patients to someone else. Why would I see him in the first place if I needed to see someone else?
