Dr. Ayanna Powell gave an amazing cleaning. I can honestly say this is the most thorough cleaning I’ve had by far! Several weeks after, I can still see the results of the stellar service she provided. I can’t stop looking at my teeth and smiling. This clearly is a labor of love; as she continues to bless people, one month at a time. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Dr. Powell! Keep up the great work!

My name is Chantel Copeland and I’m a new patient at Westphalia Dental. My very first phone call to the office was due to an emergency situation. The receptionist (Neeka) has the most pleasant personality and patience as she’s dealing with the public . Dr. Chung’s passion for what he does shows in the way he handles his patients. Dr. Powell (Ayanna) gave my teeth the cleaning of a lifetime. She too has a very pleasant personality! Overall I will recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and knowledgeable dental office.

I’ve been coming here since it opened and unfortunately, the customer service has changed. The new young lady who cleaned my teeth today was incredibly rude with me until Dr. Chung was nearby. She didn’t greet me, had an attitude every time I asked a question and she acted as though she didn’t care to be there. When she started the cleaning, she began to rake through my teeth and I could feel her stabbing my gums. I have never had an issue with this before with any other person who cleaned my teeth. When I complained about the pain, she attempted to throw my condition in my face as if it were something new. But once I said what I said the raking stopped immediately which meant the raking had nothing to do with my condition. The only time she attempted to be nice was when Dr. Chung was nearby and that was towards the end of my appointment.

Dr Bo is AMAZING!! I've had him for an extraction and most recently, root canal and repair of a heinously-close-to-unsalvageable chipped tooth. Even though I booked the appointment as a cleaning whose duration is a fraction of what I describe above, Dr. Bo made room in his schedule to effect a complete restructure of what was a painful disaster. He and his assistant Kelly skillfully and meticulously 1) engineered a mold of the original tooth, 2) mitigated gum and tissue inflammation 3) removed chipped portion, 4) initiated root canal, 5) rebuilt tooth, and 6) ended up building a temporary crown for the injured tooth and one behind it as a combo. He was professional, comprehensive, astute, engaging, funny and communicated each of his plans/next steps. He allowed me to offer input while educating on the outcome of those choices. My work looks absolutely gorgeous and to think its temporary! I highly recommend him for ANY of your dental needs, you will not be disappointed!

Staff was friendly, efficient, respectful, and patient. From the time I entered the office with first contact/receptionist and Melva the scheduler, I felt welcome. The dental assistant was patient and tried to relieve my anxieties. Dr. Chung made sure I was comfortable and completely numbed before he began my implant procedure.

Carson the hygienist is very thorough and gentle. Dr. Chung and Dr. Bo are extremely knowledgeable and provide trustworthy diagnoses. They all have awesome chairside manner to go along with their skillset.
