Arnel Cache Castrence's Online Review Report Card

First my grandmother waited over an hour past her appointment time to see Dr. Castrence, then he did not take into account her symptoms. He did not order an updated x-ray to make sure her lungs and chest were clear even though she has been coughing horribly over the last several months. He did not take into account her chronic conditions before prescribing her an inhaler that gave her tremors. He did nothing for my grandmother. After the appointment was over she had to walk from the back door completely around the building to get to the front where they were parked at. How in the world do you lock front doors and expect handicap people to get to their vehicles? Now my grandmother is in the hospital because Dr. Castrence did not take the time to treat her properly.

Dr. Castrence supports all of my clients that reside in a community base setting. He has always been professional, due to some disabilities,he has learned them and their needs.

Three months visit Dr Castrence is a 5star. Pleasant, friendly helpful ,through, listen to u, efficient n always on top of your medication n health being. Explains everything about your health n medicine in a way u understand. I will not change this Dr for all the Diamond in the world. He’s the best Family Dr in Maryland

No. He doesn’t get back to you when you ask him to call. He’s got so many patients that he has you waiting over 1 hour after your scheduled appointment. He has no respect nor does he listen to the patient. He ignores as does his nurse your requests. I rate him Unsatisfactory. I will be changing primary care doctors.

Dr. Castrence practices 360 degree medicine -- this means he is interested in making sure you live your life healthy and well. You can ask him anything and he is patient and knowledgeable. I cannot ask for a better internist.

Dr. Castrence is a good doctor when it comes to bedside manner but he is absolutely horrible with time management. I have him as my PCP on my insurance and i am currently in the process of changing it out because i am always waiting at least an hour to get seen even when i am extremely early & on time for my appointments. The final straw came about 3 weeks ago i needed refills on medications already annotated in my chart& for ailments already listed in my medical record Dr. Castrence nurse said i needed an appointment . I got to my appointment 45mins early & front desk said we will try to get you back early since i was so early. my appointment time comes & goes on by.....i get so frustrated whenn it reaches the 1hr & 45min mark that ive been sitting in this office. I speak with the office manager who says he is always running behind & has been talked to about this yet his patients are meant to suffer RIDICULOUSLY unprofessional wait times! No thank you ur cancelled!!!!

I've been a patient with Maryland Health Care for well over 20 years. Dr. Castrence has taken good care of us over the years.

The wait time is unreal. Why even bother to schedule a time? I can’t wait for 2 hours to be seen. I’m looking for a another physician.

Dr. Castrence has been my Doctor for more than 15 years and has served as my doctor in a very professional manner. He is attentive to his patients, and is easy going along with being a very compassionate Doctor. I highly respect him and trust him with my care. Have been through many orthopedic surgerys and he has helped me through many difficult decisions. Thank you Dr. Castrence for your care. I have the upmost respect for this doctor.

He is a easy doctor to talk to and he cares about his patients and their health and personal well being! He is awesome been with more then 5 years now!!
