Medexpress Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

This place sucks. I had visited the MedExpress in Waldorf, MD firstly on July 18th. I explained how I needed a Primary Care Physician to sign a document releasing me to return to work. The receptionist went to the back to talk to a doctor on staff, when she returned she informed me that she would be able to help me at the cost of $199. A scam foremost. I didn’t have the funds that day so I told them I’d return. Fast forward two weeks, now with the funds, they refused to do what they had previously said they could. The best part is how no doctor ever came to tell me that, they’d hang all their receptionists and nurses out to dry. I ask the nurse to have the doctor on duty explain to me why I was told one thing and serviced another. When the rude doctor entered my room and began talking to me her tone came off very aggrevated. She made it to be me disturbing her. There wasn’t a shred of empathy from this lady. In a field where people give doctors their lives, in a field that demands you to be human. I’m asking to be examined and to have a piece of paper signed so that I may go back to work and pay my bulls, for the people depending on me…instead my money was taken and I was let aware how I was bothering this doctor. I got my refund and left and I won’t be coming back. I’d rather die than use this office for any emergency. Because the people working there would rather see you dead as well.

Courtney Steiert is the best PA I’ve ever seen at this office. Funny, personable and just plain nice. Never experienced that at MedExpress.

Really bad customer service! The hispanic lady at the front desk was so rude to me when I asked what is causing the delay. She gave me an attitude and didn’t even apologize or explain nicely. My appointment is at 3:45 and I’m still sitting here waiting for 45 minutes now! Do not go to this place!!!

The name of this urgent care doesn't fit with their service. The staff is so unorganized with scheduling. I got to this location at around 2:25 but I was told that my appointment is at 3:45 so I went and got me some food. Now I'm back here and I have been waiting for 30 minutes! I heard one patient was saying that he had been waiting for a long time and was told to just comeback because they have to take their breaks! There is a long line while I'm typing this post and no one is explaining about the delay of service. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Clearly the provider working was incompetent. Brought my son in for a fever. All swabs were negative. The provider checked his ears and said they were fine. A couple hours later we were in the ER because his fever would not break with Tylenol and Motrin. My son has a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION. Time was wasted and medicine could have been started sooner and he could feel better faster. Do better.

I usually take my kiddos here as it is quick and near the house and today was the first time we’ve tried to go and it was closed. Would just suggest next time that someone put a sign up letting patients know that there was an issue so we don’t drive all the way for a walk in and have a justification as to why the sign says open every day 8-8 and it isn’t. We still like this urgent care tho otherwise I’d give 5 stars.

You're SICK when you go to urgent care, so it means something to you when the professionals you encounter are warm, caring helpful and knowledgeable like the people at "my" MedStar urgent care. I trust them, and I know they will always do what's best for me until I can see my own doctor. I appreciate all of them-from the receptionist to the nurses to the on-call physicians, and I'm so glad they are in my "neighborhood".

Have always been professional and really convenient for vets.

Pleasant experience the Dr provided excellent care and very knowledgeable for the reason of the visit. Dr explained everything very clearly and definitively provided excellent patient care.

Was kind of a lil disappointed with the timely matter when it comes do a test screening for a job, especially when you the 3rd person in once the doors open at 8am.
