Omar F. Ahmad's Online Review Report Card

Technicians and staff were nice; however Dr. Omar Ahmad was not. He hurt my eye during his exam and was not sincere or caring in the least way. He wanted to perform surgery that day, without me even understanding what my condition was. The technicians took addition images of my eye and could not find what he was stating the problem was. This left me feeling insecure and untrusting.

Dr. Ahmad performed a vitrectomy on my eyes sometime around 2006-7. He made me feel comfortable and confident that the procedure would be successful and it was. I knew I was in good hands. He is an excellent ophthalmologist.

I have taken my mother to see Dr. Ahmad twice in the last 3 months. He is completely disrespectful of his patient’s time. Both times I was there for more than two hours. Most of the time was spent waiting for the doctor. When I told his staff that I had another appointment and that I needed to leave soon, I learned that he had been meeting with a salesperson for the last 30 minutes. He had 5 patients waiting to see him and he was meeting with a salesperson. I was outraged. I will never take my mothers here again.

I am a caretaker for a 94 year old lady and had an appointment today. Staff was friendly, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable at all times. Dr. Joshie was wonderful and I am so pleased with the care my friend received.

My physician called and set up an appointment with Dr. Amhad office. Was told appointment was @0920 and they excepted my insurance. I got there early office is packed. Waiting area is dirty. I sign in and wait for 50 minutes to be told they can not see me they do not except my insurance. Waiting time is 2-3 hours sign says on window. I would like to ask why they would have booked me an appointment when they definitely didnt have the time to see me or except my insurance. I would never recommend this office to no one. I drove an hour to get to this appointment. Very disappointing!!!!

Amazing people! Everyone so nice - put me at ease from the start. Dr. Omar explained everything to me. It was just a very nice experience. I felt like they are taking great care of my eyes especially my retina!!

I had the first appt for the day at 9. I arrived at 8:45 and was seen by the tech at 9 and in the exam room at 9:15. At 10 I told the front desk I needed to leave for another appt. She thought I had been seen and had no explanation. She was not sure what to do. She had had someone ask when Dr. Ahmad would be in and she said he should be in about 9. Needless to say Dr. Ahmad had other priorities than my appt. I will find someone who values my time.

I was very apprehensive during my initial appointment, but Dr. Ahmad and his staff put me at ease very quickly. I left knowing that I was in good hands and would receive outstanding care.
