I feel that since the Office has grown and moved it has been quite unorganized and too busy to give the patients the time needed. The Receptionists are way to busy doing what it seems to be nothing. Basically coming to work but barely giving a good days of work. It has become too busy where you are on hold way too long and when the Receptionist answer the phone they seem too preoccupied to engage you but seem to rather try to rush you off the phone. I am really thinking about changing me and my husband's PCP there because of the nonsense. I am getting too old for this. I want to make one thing clear the Receptionist that I am referencing is the Staff that make the appointments who are not in the same Office. One is particular is named Jackie who I spoke with today who was very rude and needs to be retrained on how to speak with the Public/Patients.

Love Dr. Davidson!!! I am so glad I switched to Shaw group. Dr.Davidson took the time to answer my questions and compassion to help.

He kept me waiting for over 1 1/2 hrs. This happens every time. I will find a doctor outside of MedStar. This seems to be the protocol for MedStar.

Beware!!! Dr. Robert L Davison, without knocking first walked in while I was getting dress right after having an EKG done. Dr. Davison NEVER apologized for walking in without knocking first. When I tried to discuss an issue regarding his staff he talked over me and would not listen. He complained about now being 45 minutes late because he took time to talk to me regarding my issue with his staff. I have never had a doctor tell me, until now that once I turn in my paperwork for pre-op surgery, I have to call their office to make sure they send my bloodwork to the lab. Dr. Davison said no one from his staff would call me to put in the bloodwork. No one from his office told me if I even needed to fast before my blood work. Dr. Davison went on to say and I quote “ my staff has too much paperwork to go over for each patient. I just walk in see the patients and walk out“. This is not the first issue I’ve had with Dr. Davison, but I tried to give him and his staff another chance. I didn’t think this second chance would end up with me feeling so truly disrespected and undervalued as a patient by a doctor. Scheduled a telehealth appointment for my father. I was told it was at 1:00 on Monday and I would receive a link about 15 minutes prior to the appointment. Confirmed the appointment in the morning and was told the appointment was at 1:15. At 1:30, had not received a link or a call. Called and was told the doctor is running behind and the appointment is actually at 1:30. Waited until 2:30 and no call or link was received. It's now 4:00 and still no word from the doctor's office. Not a good first impression at all!!!

On March 11, I was turned away after showing up for my initial appointment and told by the doctor that he'd accidentally double booked me with another patient. Today, March 26th, Dr Davison never showed up for our 1:00 pm appointment. No advance notice, no phone calls, no nothing. Dr. Davison provided detailed information about my medical condition, and offered choices of treatment, which allowed me to make an informed decision about the way forward. He is kind, patient, informative and professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davison for about two and a half years. In all my visits he seemed conflicted as if something was bothering him. I thought that maybe he did not like his job or that he had no one to tell his problems too. I have listened to him talk harshly to patients and have even had him yell at me out of frustration. After over two years I finally concluded his conflict was that I am a white male. Even though they have a fifteen-minute grace period to hold your appointment. The office staff will cancel your appointment if you are late. But when you arrive early, the staff expects you to wait for over an hour before they call you back into a room only to make you wait even longer. If you are on opioids the staff will only see you as a drug addict. Whatever you do, do not shake from pain. Because you will forever be treated as a common drug addict. The facility is dirty and needs a new front door. The bathrooms smell of urine and I have had to clean fecal waste off the toilet seats. The office needs a makeover, but management is to cheap to maintain the office environment so that patients and staff can have a pleasant environment. In conclusion, stay away!

Dr. Davison is a good Doctor I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Davison is GREAT!!! I have been seeing him for over 10 years and have never had an issue with him. I have a very complicated medical history and he was on top of every diagnosis and very thorough. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that he sometimes runs behind schedule. Other than that he is wonderful. I have referred my friends, co-workers, and even family members to him.
