Bay Community Health's Online Review Report Card

Used to love 5huz place. Had no problem trusting my he3lath to them. Then startes the exit of the good doctors. And they were lwdt woth myhe B dr. Wholet my friebd take to much pain medication and she dies. Saw him once didbt like him. Now they have two new ones. Saw one last thursday. UGH. It is now Monday and he still has not sent a scrip o that he said he would. I have lost all trust and faith in t he medical staff of this pllace

Ive been going here for over 6 years and for most of it have been very pleased, but the place has gone down hill since they changed their name to Bay Community Health and Dr. Hennsey left. It no longer feels like family medicine. I end up seeing a different doctor every time, the facilities are run down, and the admin staff is often less than competent. Corporate greed is ruining healthcare.

After five years I will no longer be going back here. Waiting periods of 45+ minutes after my appt time on one occasion (i was 20 min early). On my last appointment, the office asked me to reschedule for them, when I left work I was running late an called them on the way. I was told that as long as I was within 15 minutes of my appointment time I would not need to reschedule. I was at the desk exactly 15 min after my appointment time and they told me I would need to reschedule my appointment. I feel like this was not the best way to treat a customer, especially when I called them and was told otherwise. My friends wife also received some unsatisfactory care at this place recently so i will not be going back here anymore.

I will not be going back here.  Last appointment I showed up 15 min early, and waited 25 min past my appointment time in the waiting room, was called back and sat in a room for another 20 minutes before being seen.  My next appointment that they (not me) had to reschedule, I was running a little late and called them on the way explaining that I was running about 10 - 15 min late.  They told me that as long as I was within 15 min of my appointment time, I would not have to reschedule.  I was at the desk at exactly 15 min past my appointment time, and they said I would need to reschedule.  I did not think that this was a reasonable or fair way to treat a 5 year patient.  My friend's wife also had a bad experience here recently with regards to medical care.  I would not recommend taking your family or kids to this medical facility.

I had a physical appointment today for my daughter. This office is about 30 minutes away from my home, and despite my negative experience last time with the nurse practitioner Nancy I decided to give this office another try. The first time we went to this office I was trying to get my daughter a physical because my mother why dying and my daughter now needed to be in before care. At the first visit Nancy gave me a very hard time because my daughter was a first time patient and almost would not give her a physical until I begged her stating this is for child care because my mother was previously and she is now dying... finally we get the physical done after I finally start crying because of all the stress I'm under. Fast forward to today's appointment we pull up at the outside station the lady asks the normal questions fever? Etc.. I state that my daughter had had a fever last week for a day or so and now has a cough.. the lady states that it is no problem and for us to go inside and sign in an wait.. after about a hour in the office Nancy comes into the room for the physical.. halfway through my daughter coughs and Nancy jumps up runs out the room for a moment then comes back and tells us we IMMEDIATELY need to leave because since my daughter had a fever last week and coughed we were not allowed there.. now I have been here for an 1hr and a half at this point.. I explain that I made everyone aware of her having a cough and we were told to come in.. we were then made to leave and were told we would be "called" when we're allowed back.. my point is if my daughter is sick and I can't take her to her doctor then where am I supposed to go? This whole scene was done in front of everyone in the office and we were made to feel as if we had the plague.. never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a doctor not only once but TWICE! DO NOT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO SEE THE ACTUAL DOCTOR NOT NANCY.. my family will be looking for other care from this point forward. Don't work with patients let alone kids if you have no compassion.. especially in today society not know what hardships those people around us are facing.

I absolutely love the West River office. They make my feel like family and are all so compassionate. I've always felt that they really care about their patients so I've always referred anyone looking for a great primary care office to them for years now even back when they were just owensville. ❤️

So fed up! First appointment I went there, I had covid symptoms. They said it was too late for them to do a test so I had to go to urgent care, the next day, I had negative results so I made another appointment so I could get medication. Had to wait a week and a half to get a sick visit appointment. Had my appointment on Monday & still haven’t received my medication bc of poor communication with the pharmacy. On hold forever on the phone, on Wednesday evening and still don’t have medicine. Going on a month of being sick now.

Absolutely the best all around service there is to offer I've been going here for over 4 years now some years more often than others unfortunately but in my experience no complaints whatsoever.
