List of Medstar Health Urgent Care At Wheaton's Reviews
Everyone was very cordial and efficient. My diagnosis was fully explained to me. Overall a very good experience.
1) I am very disappointed with the overall care of my yesterday's appointment (3/3/23). No person at the front desk for more than 20 minutes after I walked into the urgent care. 2) MedStar has to reconsider when people walk in without an appointment. For example, though I told the front desk person that I have chest discomfort and sick, she let the person go who came after me to see the doctor. Because the other scheduled the appointment online. I think seeing patients should be based on the seriousness of the illness. 3) when the tech took EKG, the technician was too hard to shave the chest to hook up the machine. 4) The EKG result given by the physician was just opposite to the EKG result taken at WHC Emergency Room. The EKG result at the WHC (Washington Hospital Center) was normal compared to the abmormal result given by the urgent care. Note that both EKG was taken within less than 2 hours time difference. 4) I may not go to this facility next time.
Friendly, helpful, efficient are some of the words I can use when I come to urgent care in wheaton, I have been coming g here for years and continued to do so because I always have a pleasant experience 😊 thanks everyone working this site 😀
Everyone helpful and caring.
My husband and I have had a couple good experiences here in the past year. After being turned away from another urgent care place that wanted us to first register online and come back tomorrow, we instead headed to this clinic, where they saw my husband right away and spared us an ER visit for what turned out to be a crazy sinus infection, which the kind PA at MedStar treated in an effective, friendly way. When I was sick myself some months later, I went back and got the same friendly, quick service from another great PA. We would both recommend MedStar Urgent Care in Wheaton.
Good, professional care from the staff, but the wait time was very long. It took 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor and I just wanted a strep test! The 15 minute wait time posted on Google was obvs inaccurate!!
I am happy with my experience at urgent care… I did have to wait an hour and 10 minutes to be seen but once I was seen what he prescribed, really was the answer… And it was much appreciated!
This is the 2nd time I have been to this location for the same thing. In May, I had COVID and come to get tested for work. Everyone was fantastic. So I knew I wanted to go back again this time, however it was not the same. The front staff were great and as well as the 2 nurses. I was not impressed by the NP. She was very short with me and even told me that something I was planning she did not understand but never gave me a chance to explain anything to her. Will think twice before going back.
Very efficient and kind staff. Would definitely recommend!
Very good staff and doctor. She was so nice and jolly natured

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
