Song Chol Chon's Online Review Report Card

Well reading these from 4-5 years ago... I can confirm.. Still lacks a bedside manor ! See my review under the Sleep Center .... Truth is he P#"!= me off. On steroids, never helps.. Just felt he was misogynistic.... He refused to address his letter to cardiologist I see, a female doc. Insisted on address the doctor I saw one time, who happened to had me his name. I explained he is not my cardiologist and to send it mine. I know they're in the practice. It just felt rude to me. Also felt belittled by not going to a pulmonologist all the time. I thought when our care is well managed we don't need to see them. Which mine had been until recently. Didn't like the office is stand alone.... Not linked to University of Maryland, MedStar or Adventist health care. So my 20 years of lung scans test etc. are out of reach for comparisons. I don't want to start from scratch .... Yeah ... I didn't like him. Staff was very nice ....

Very detail with test and created an action plan for care . I am doing better . He listen then reply with a solution. He follows up if your having contact he with a critical care problems . He is straight to the point without the fluff. If you need paper work completed he is very timely. The wait is sometime full with people and a long wait time, which irritates me to no end. The staff is very hard working and we need to understand just because we are feeling bad we shouldn’t take it out on them . P.S we are our best Advocate, so please explain your condition with notes if you need the extra information. Updated

Our experience with Dr. Chon and his clinical care was good but did not see him until over an hour past our appointment time. Office staff is unprofessional all the way around. In the waiting room, the tv was on a program where racial slurs and offensive language was being used. Had to ask the receptionist to turn it off or change the channel. When my elderly father asked if he needed to take his shirt off for his blood pressure to be taken, the person said, No baby, then I'd have to throw dollar bills at you and we are not after all that. I strongly believe that the remarks made by the office staff to be unprofessional and inappropriate when talking to patients, and especially in dealing with an elderly patient with dementia. The patient was simply needing instructions about what was going to be done and how it was going to be done. Have been to this office multiple times and each time waits have been long and office staff unprofessional.

My dad goes to this doctor he suffers from COPD. This doctor has no compassion cold hearted and straight up jerk. Staff acts the same way. I WOULDN'T BTING MY PET TO THIS OFFICE. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER LUNG DOCTOR ELSEWHERE RATED A 1 STAR CUZ I HAD TO IN ORDER TO SUBMIT THIS RRVIEW.

Please find another doctor. He's the worst I've ever seen.

Dr Chon has a very busy schedule. If you clearly state your concerns he will address them. He went above and beyond for me on my visit. This is my 1st time dealing with lung /heart issues. He could tell I was concerned. His staff needs some more customer service training and they should remember patients wouldn’t come if they did not have too. Thank you,

I didn’t understand why others had left low ratings, but I found Dr. Chon to be honest and thorough. He just gives you the facts without the song and dance. I appreciated that. If you want a professional who gives it to you straight and looks out for your welfare, please give him a visit.??

Very professional and reviewed all records as well as scheduling the appropriate tests needed to aid in medical condition.

I love Dr Chon!! While I agree that he doesn’t have much of a bedside manner, he is a phenomenal doctor and takes the time to answer any questions I have and can be very compassionate.

Terrible bedside manner and never answers my questions. I have never had an MRI either. Just a breathing test for a diagnosis. Does not answer page from answering service and makes you come in every 3 months just to refill RX's. All my other Dr's it is every 6 months.
