Great doc and surgeon! Dr. Messahel carefully walked through every step of the surgery during the pre-appointment and before surgery. Dr. Messahel removed my impacted wisdom teeth and it went so smoothly thanks to him. I was pretty nervous for the surgery and he reassured me on all of my worries. Great oral surgeron and a very easy doc to talk to! Highly recommend for oral surgery.

Reviewing" a physician, like a car or movie or toothpaste has always seemed odd to me. But, there are times when it is appropriate, for good or bad. The best doctors are educators, not simply techicians. On this point, Dr. Messahel excels. He spent well over an hour explaing the physiology and CT films, virtually slice by slice - as if teaching a group of medical students. Ultimately, we had a clear understanding of the anatomy, making the choice of treatment options (which he described in equal detail) obvious to us. Dr. Messahel is a surgeon. He operates for a living. Yet, he fully endorsed our decision that surgery was unnecessary, saying that would have been his recommendation as well. Greatest respect for a surgeon who supports the conservative approach. The best docs are also the ones who you can relate to. Dr. Messahel is warm and charming with a disarming sense of humor. He even sent us a get-well card. You would be most fortunate to find yourself in his care. Highest points.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Messahel. He is a master of his craft, personable, and is willing to spend the time to explain your upcoming procedure in a gentle and comforting manner. While I hope I will never need Dr. Messahel's expertise again, I hope to cross his path once more. A genuine thank you for your kind demeanor and exceptional care.
