Sharp as a tack in every way. Performed a stent placement during my STEMI it was a radial entry so I was aware for the most part of all that was happening. He saved my life. He is sharp with his language as well. No punches pulled by this guy. The thing (other than his obvious skill) that commanded my respect for him is that he listened to me. He looked into something I had questioned about aspirin regimen studies and came back to explain succinctly while I was right, I was wrong. Right about the study. Wrong as it applied to me. I would also say if you're looking for hand holding he's not for you... if you're looking for a hand up out of your disease, he's your man.

negative...The doctor came to the wrong conclusion without ordering an Echocardiogram which would have indicated my weakening heart's EF%, resulting in a diagnosis of severe heart failure a few months later. Basically, he has since dropped me as a patient. He knew he was negligent, apparently just couldn't face me again. No I would not recommend him to my friends or family.

Just because a patient looks healthy doesn't mean their heart is. An ECHO might have shown the weakening heart, thus lowering it's EF%, ultimately resulting in a heart attack some months later, followed the next day by cardiac arrest. Fortunately I survived, but diagnosed with severe heart failure now, I foresee a long road to recovery. I just don't feel it needed to be this way.
