List of Alec Anderson's Reviews
I switched to Dr. Anderson late in my pregnancy and don’t regret it! He always asked if I had any questions and always answered them thoroughly and never seemed annoyed. Delivery went well and he never once made me feel uncomfortable. I Highly recommend him and will keep him as my primary OB/Gyn!
My wife and I are both registered nurses. Dr. Anderson was belittling and rude to my wife during our OB visit with him. He outright told my pregnant wife that she was a danger to the community by not being vaccinated against covid despite the vaccines waning efficacy. He fear mongered and scared a first time mom who already had made the difficult decision to walk away from her job before being fired due to the vaccine mandate. We switched OB providers and my wife had an uncomplicated medical birth, while covid positive, baby was fine, all family members were asymptomatic. Alec Anderson should learn to use empathy with his patient populations.
Dr. Anderson has been my primary obgyn and has answered any an all questions no matter how awkward I feel they are. He scheduled my induction to be after 40 weeks. I made it a day shy to 40 weeks and had an emergency c section. (Different provider took care of me during my delivery) I was pleased to find out he didn’t immediately veto a VBAC if I choose to have another baby. He is a reserved man but honest and matches my personality of being a blunt introvert. I have had people say he’s not personable, however I think it’s a matter of them wanting a more outspoken extroverted provider. I prefer his personality, not once did I feel worried or stressed. My husband also liked how calm and reassuring he is when it came to worrisome questions.
Had to tell him about ten times that I didn't agree to be induced at 39 weeks simply because of my "advanced age." Also had the PUPS rash while I was pregnant; he told me it was eczema and due to stress of anticipating being a first-time parent. Seemed very concerned about whether I was going to have a "support system" as a single parent. Told me I was the type of personality that was not going to be able to handle an unmedicated birth. I had an unmedicated birth. Happy to say he was not the attending physician. After the birth a resident diagnosed the PUPS rash.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
