Chadwick Szylvian's Online Review Report Card

OMG I have NO idea why the prior review was even written. I've been with Dr Chad for a while now and he is above AMAZING. He listens, never rushed, takes the time and cares. I had one other doctor in the past 35 years that I loved. She retired and it took me almost 6 years to find Dr. Chad! He is amazing. I've seen 3 or 4 others in the area and NOT IMPRESSED. Chad AND the staff, and Christy are super helpful, caring, understanding, professional. I have Migraine and I've never found a better office who understands. I can't imagine what the other reviewer (1 star) was thinking...Maybe wrong doctor? Bad day? But Dr Chad is AMAZING!

Called me "manic" when I tried to explain my various health concerns. Only ever physically saw me twice in the time that I knew him and had his minions see me so he wouldn't have to. Still suffering from various untreated health problems.

I would not recommend him as a child's primary Doctor. It appears that parents/client concerns are brushed off. Looking at only the data on a screen to get information. They hopefully updated their scale for weighing children as a child can hold onto the edges making the wrong data collected. Not a problem in most situations, however, if your child becomes sick and loses weight-it will look no different, perhaps the child had gained weight because the data was collected incorrectly the first time and correctly the second. The Dr. will look at you like you're crazy because that's not what the data says, so you-the parent-must be wrong. One should understand the flaws in collecting data incorrectly if you rely so heavily on it. Shows Dr. * bones poking through skin*, "Actually, your child has gained weight," Said Dr. At that moment I knew we were switching Doctors.

Dr Syzilvian is incredibly compassionate when dealing with hard issues. I was pretty low maintenance as a patient but had some huge life events happen and the Dr and his entire staff has been amazing and it's been so easy during this time to get answers and appointments.

My previous Dr. retired and I was accepted as a new patient. I was used to not being listened to at my old establishment. Was sure I would get the same here. Not so! Dr. Chad is very compasionate and really listens to me. I am very thankful to have been assigned to Dr. Szylvian. I have full confidence in him and the office staff.

Always actually Listens, shows understanding. Very caring man. The staff is compassionate and caring. The doctor takes all the time I need to fully understand. I have had 3 other dr's in the Bangor area and have found them VERY lacking. Dr Chad is a shining star!I have full confidence in him

I was accepted as a new patient into St. Joseph healthcare in late 2016. I am disabled due to autoimmune disease, chronic pain, chronic degenerative disc disease, depression and G.A.D. I have been labeled as having a "Complicated medical history and difficult clinical presentation" by my previous health care entity. I didn't believe that I would get a Doctor like the one I was assigned, (Dr. Szylvian). I could not be more relieved!! He has been a Godsend in getting me stabilized.

I have had Dr. Szylvian as my Physician for three years now. I met him when he was a resident doctor. Over time I have become convinced that Dr. Szylvian is a brilliant catch for the Bangor area. He is easy to talk to. Has a great sense of humor, and his learning ability, both in medicine and the whole patient, is admirable. I truly trust him.
