Billing department is a joke, can’t get anything right, then they fix it and send 30+ pieces of mail all at once for each separate payment item. You think people have the time to open that much mail?? Send it as one billing statement like many others do. Are you looking to not get paid properly, cause it’s not worth my time to open and keep track of this much paperwork. Let alone when you just sent another 15 copies of the same exact bill in the same week, insane!
Great Staff Thank You Susan I Believe that she did what she did. I’m sure to pay forward
Brough my husband in for possible heart attack and am made to sit in the parking lot to waitand see if he lives or dies 😡Called care manager and then waited another 45 minute's after I talked to her to get information or to go in with him😡😡I'd give zero stars right now. Oh and let's not forget they swab u before u go in after u said u haven't had Covid-19 in 90 days then sit u in the waiting room with all the other who we all know them results aren't all back yet🤦♀️How just plain dumb.
I went to the ER to be treated. After waiting for an hour the doctor took me into an exam room off the waiting room in the ER and then brought me back to the waiting room. After waiting another 45 minutes the phlebotomist took my blood. She did not shut the door so I could hear the conversations between the medical staff and each patient. I was never appointed a room. After each test I needed, the medical staff would bring me back to the waiting room. The doctor gave me my results in the waiting room surrounded by other patients. I waited another 45 minutes to be discharged. The nurse discharged me in the triage area where there was a chair and computer in the corner. Overall, I waited 3 hours with no fluids or medical treatment. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.
Worst bedside manners .. 6 hours wait to see a Doctor. My pain and concerns were dismissed.
My sister passed on Monday at this hospital. She was in comfort care and waited for hours for pain medication. The nurses were not great with the exception of one. There was also one CNA named Falon who was absolutely the best. If you could clone this lady things would be run the way they should be run. It's sad. Also the two older ladies at the front desk at check in are totally rude and allowed to be rude by the administration because there have been many complaints. The hospital is worried about COVID but yet the rooms are not cleaned properly and are quite disgusting. I hope I never have to go back there. My sister deserved much better care.
Absolutely terrible. Do not recommend to absolutely anyone. Recently went to the emergency room, one week post op from an orthopedic surgery at a different facility. I was unable to walk because of this. I was in 10/10 pain, constant vomiting, and SOB. My surgeon sent me to the ED. Staff parked me in the waiting room and left me there for a long time before I was seen by the rudest PA. Dx me with a gastric ulcer and ordered labs and meds. Again was parked alone in the waiting room. I finally got medication and IV fluids however, was given medication that I have never had before and it likely interacted with something that I was currently on for my post op regimen. I felt paralyzed. My jaw was locked and I could only moan. Parking people in a waiting room without monitoring is a lawsuit waiting to happen. To add insult to injury, the PA came out and said “you need to be quiet, there are other people here and they don’t want to listen to you.” Seriously- the care here is deplorable. I was lucky I snapped out of it because I felt like I was going to die.
I had the worst experience at the emergency room. Went there because I was having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic that had been prescribed to me and I was feeling short of breath. Had hives all over my body that were extremely painful. I waited in the emergency room for 2 hours before I was seen by a doctor. The doctor proceed to make me feel horrible about being there for what he said was just a rash. Stated I was probably short of breath because I was having anxiety and I needed to relax. He didn't want to treat me with anything until I made a fuss about needing some sort of a steroid to help calm this reaction. He told me that I should just go and get seen by a dermatologist. After more back-and-forth he agreed to do an IV steroid but said that my IV would probably be started in the waiting room because they had no rooms available. He also said that "we might as well run labs if you are going to get an IV. I feel that labs were not necessary. The waiting room was disgusting. There were wrappers and used masks all over the floor and what looked like needle caps. After waiting another hour I decided to leave. I told security I was leaving and they tried to stop me so that I could sign a paper. I told them I'm not waiting any longer. I went over to walk in at PCHC after was treated almost immediately with a steroid injection and an injection of antihistamine to help calm the reaction I was having. The doctor I saw was Peter Husley. He needs to learn about compassion. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical profesional before.
The older lady at the front desk by the main entrance was extremely rude. I was nothing but nice to her and she had a terrible attitude. I’ve never been spoken to like that by anyone let alone someone who’s job it is to see people on possibly the worse days of their lives.
UPDATE: I think I've experienced thirty-seven instances of being denied vitally important details/information since I first reported Cancer symptoms to St. Joseph's and Northern Lights in mid-April. I was just told one minute ago to only eat meat since I'm supposed to have a C.T. Scan tomorrow at Noon. One should think that the patient wouldn't face such unprofessionalism in a supposedly first-rate country. Even the Patients' Advocate is unprofessional and dismissive of my obviously valid concerns. I had to spend a night there and could not get any sleep because of the rude, crude, loud and vulgar females shouting frequently just outside my room. It took three hours and twenty-five minutes to get Supper. Each and every individual associated with Northern Lights has not told me critically important information/details until it has been way too late for me to take action on the omitted details/information. And the blatantly obvious hostility shown to me by a doctor-surgeon several times because I had the nerve to ask him seemingly routine questions makes me question his mental health/ psychological stability.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
