1st question was "why are you here today". If he wasn't aware, and had not read my chart, should I have to explain this? Lacking in any manners or patient background (it was all on My Chart). Have to stretch it to give him one star.Not impressed.

Absolutely no bedside manner or empathy. Inpatient when we asked clarification on his findings on endoscopy. The nurses were very kind.

I had not actually met Dr. Payne prior to my procedure as my initial appointment was with a NP. He has absolutely no bedside manner and made an anxious situation for me even more uncomfortable . I was very anxious due to a recent anaphylactic incident and the anesthesiologist was so caring and calming, Dr. Payne,however, seemed annoyed and his physical exam was almost laughable. He came in to recovery afterwards and had such a rushed demeanor Im still not sure what happened and if I even want to have my f/u with the NP. Extremely disappointed in the overall experience. All of the other staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

Took forever and multiple calls to schedule a colonoscopy appointment. When I received the colon cleanse prescription, I questioned why it was the very old gallon prep and could I use the newer prep. Flat answer was “that is what he ordered “. Not acceptable. I canceled.

horrible beside manner, did not introduce himself nor did he go over procedure (MAC sedation turned out to be incredibly painful) or results of colonoscopy, nurses all nice, but would never recommend him

I have had 3 procedures done in 3 years and all were performed efficiently and with great care from the doctor and staff. He was kind and answered all my questions.
