My wife is a patient of his and we are both impressed with treatment and professionalism of him and the entire staff at his office. We are both in the medical field so that should speak volumes to anyone seeking treatment by him!

Greeted me with a smile at 8:30 AM, before I knew he was to be my surgeon. We chatted all through the 20 minute skin cancer surgery. No problems 5 days hence. He has my confidence and respect.

Dr. Starks performed 2 parathyroidectomies and one gallbladder surgery on me. He has very good bedside manners, and is very knowledgeable about his work and details. He is truly one of the best surgeons. I am very satisfied with Dr. Starks as my doctor. I respect him.

Dr Starks is an excellent doctor. He did exploratory surgery on me in 2006. We were expecting to find that I was full of cancer. Turned out to be splenic tissue left over from spleen rapture during a motorcycle accident several years earlier.

I had a biopsy done by Dr Starks with a cancer diagnosis. I am an RN and when I choose a Dr I choose carefully. Dr Starks is wonderful. He is very kind, caring and understanding. It is very obvious that he cares about his patients. He LISTENS!!!! He addresses all of my concerns. All of his staff is wonderful, as well. He is the BEST and we are very fortunate to have him in this area. He is very professional and compassionate.

From the first time I met DR Stark in the Emergency Room and going to his office for my first visit. The whole crew were just great. Tracy is an A+++ My surgery and the process went very well. I am glad these people were there for me when I needed them. I couldn't have had better care. Thank You All of You!!!!

Dr. Starks was both professional and friendly. He took the time to decide the best course of action. I got 2 other opinions in Atlanta from noted Colorectal Surgeons, but Dr. Starks reccomended something different and not as radical. I flew up to Maine to have him do the surgery. He was correct in doing a less invasive surgery first, and then if needed go with the more radical surgery. He prevented me from having major surgery when it was not necessary. I would recommend him to everyone.

Excellent care. Dr Starks is the best! Very kind, compassionate and caring. His staff is wonderful also.

I have worked as an RN for the past 45 years. When I choose a Dr. I choose very carefully. Dr. Starks is the best! He is kind and compassionate and gives exceptional care. He listened to all my concerns and answered every question. I never felt rushed and he was so kind to my family. His staff is wonderful , as well.

Dr Starks addressed my many questions with knowledge, compassion and skill. He spent a lot of time with me during visits and my surgery was a breeze. I was worried about having surgery done on my neck (parathyroids) because of the proximity to my airway, and risk to my voice. He assured me he would use a special technique and device to monitor my nerves and to preserve my voice. I have already recommended him to another Patient Safety advocate colleague.
