Dr. Toder’s bariatric expertise is second to none. She was very strait forward in informing me as to what her treatment was going to be and why; leaving me very confident of a successful resolution. Her “out of the box” thinking saved me from unnecessary surgery.

I am going on 13 years with my gastric band. Dr. Toder has been with me all the way. I never have been able to do things the easy way. I have malrotation as well as a number of considerations. Dr. Toder weeded through all those and found solutions for me. I have been at least 150lbs. lighter ever since with improved health. I cannot thank Dr. Toder enough. -D

Pre-surgery I thought she was great. The trouble began within days of my gall bladder removal surgety when I called to let her know that my pain had not subsided. Her response was it wasn’t her concern - that I should talk to the doctor who referred me to her. At my post-surgical appointment when I asked if she had checked my bile ducts for stones, she got very defensive and claimed that it was not a usual procedure. I had to have another procedure because of her failure.

I can't even bring myself to call her a Dr... She is a know it all who does not listen to her patients or other Dr's... she is very unclear snd judgemental... I would not use her for my pets let alone trust her with my life... i have a positive ct scan 4 Dr's and a radiologist who can all clearly see the block... she will not even do a GI study or any further testing she sent me home to wait for it to get worse! I have had 4 past obstructions and hernias and all kinds of other complications from my bypass preformed at emmc a total of 6 surgeries and her response to me when i ask her about preventing this or deceting it early so im not disrupting my life to be admitted for surgery on an emergency life or death decision.. there is nothing you can do no help for you you just gotta do it for the rest of your life!!! She is crule and if swlp messes you up DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP SHE WILL MAKE YOU WORSE...

Not only did she not show any form of professionalism or any degree of medical confidence..she jeopardized my health by removing a Hickman catheter in my chest in a back closet while she sat on a garbage can..I was a RN for over 26 years and it horrified me and my family that she was even capable of being a doctor..I had to fight a huge infection from her careless acts and still to this day. my health was compromised by her poorly judged actions...my family was with me during this “visit”. Another time while I was an in patient , she was on call for that night and started to make changes in my health procedures without even reviewing why I had been there for over three weeks with a very serious and chronic genetic illness..since then, I have requested to never have her in my care.
