This hospital is nasty looking horrible They need to be closed it looks scary. The Mental health department they are nasty unprofessionalrude. I wont recommend this place for anyone. My brother in there no oneat could find him second they saying he has no emergency call contact when it was put on his paperwork when he got picked upfrom my favorite hospital on Sherman Ave hospital. Im so angry

We had to take a trip to the ER yesterday. My husband had to drive himself so I contacted the front desk and they knew why he was coming. We thought his appendix. But we were relieved it was just a kidney stone. The staff listened and communicated KINDLY.. Special thanks to Nurse Mary Scott. Nice nice folks. Total time was 3.5 hours. Hes home and now a member of the kidney stone club. We moved to Maine from SC and find the hospitals up here so refreshing clean and friendly. They were actually awaiting my husband. Down South we would be stepping over gunshot victims and waiting 6 hours to be seen. Refreshing.

If youre working in a hospital you should have some level of empathy. This place has been the worst hospital Ive ever been to. The doctors are the rudest and one time I brought my mother there who has multiple terminal illnesses one of the nurses constantly laughed at her while she had trouble breathing. Then kept shutting the door when my mother repeatedly told her she felt extremely claustrophobic and couldnt breathe. They also dont have the right equipment for basically anything. Have no idea how theyre still running. Select doctors are amazing but didnt leave a good enough impression to make up for the bad ones.Edit My mom has been going there for over a year now trying to figure out why her blood count is very low andor high. She takes ONE trip to Lewiston and they already have a plan set up new meds etc. This place does not care if you are sick they just do their jobs. No bedside manner besides the ICU. Emergency room specifically is an embarrassment to the community.

I have always had a wonderful experience with the staff at Bridgton Hospital. They have been kind helpful and patient with questions.The blonde women at the front desk is a disgrace to the facility. She is rude impatient and the way she treats and talks to patience is unacceptable. I can’t imagine how stressful of a job it may be but by no means should she be taking her stress out on patience.

Horrible Horrible staff in their so called Rehab unit. Treated my mother like crap for her whole stay. Trying to kick her out from day one for whatever reason. Then one day she calls and tells me they are kicking me out now and they did knowing she had no way into her snow covered house and no help up the stairs because they gave zero notice. I would send my mother to homeless shelter before I would ever send her her again.

Recently visited ER with breathing issuesnoncovid related.I was treated very well and all staff and doctors were excellent. As it turned out I was diagnosed with a lung infection and after meds and a couple of weeks completely healed. Thank you Bridgton Hospital for being there for us

Went to the ER waited less than 10 minutes before being seen and every member of the staff I interacted with was kind and patient. The doctor took the time to explain to me why he thought a condition was unlikely and gave me options in terms of tests as well as what specific symptoms I should be looking out for when back home. I left feeling reassured and well taken care of.

I have never been treated with so little concern or compassion at a healthcare facility. I would rather drive an extra hour to Portland in an emergency than go back there.
