Memorial Hospital - North Conway's Online Review Report Card

Frustrated that I received a bill from them thinking it was my bill from the ER so I already paid twice for an ER visit that had not been processed through insurance first. Because I paid the bill without knowing that I overpaid by a significant amount of money and was told that it would take months to resolve. The claim was fully processed by insurance over two months ago and I have yet to see the money repaid to my account even though I was told that it would take two months maximum which is already a significant amount of time to be waiting. Their limited office hours have also made it difficult to get information as I am typically working when their office is open 84. It was already frustrating enough to find out that theyd billed me without processing through insurance first but to have to jump through so many hoops just to get my money back is ridiculous and frustrating.Update a week later I called back today during regular business hours and was only given the option to leave a message. It is notable that the last time I called I was able to speak to a representative. I am now incredibly concerned that I will not ever get the significant amount of money paid to me that is owed as it is already well after the timeframe they said everything would be processed and I am now not even able to reach a person to find out what is happening.Update several weeks later I never received a call back despite being told multiple times I would. When I called today I was told that there was a lack of communication from insurance with reprocessing however insurance had already processed the claim back in March which I was told was all that needed to happen.This company owes me hundreds of dollars because they never submitted my claim through insurance themselves and have now held up my money for four months.Edit in October 2021 I am still awaiting my refund. I was told months ago that it would be 30 days maximum. When I last contacted them earlier this week I was told that even though it was well beyond the 30 days it would be another two weeks or more. It has literally been 7 months since my insurance company processed the claim and it was made clear that I would be issued a refund since Bluewater never put it through insurance to begin with. I have waited 7 months to receive the substantial amount of money that they owe me and each time the timeline has been extended or they have never informed me or my insurance company that they needed an additional piece of information. Honestly this has been a scam from the start of billing before putting anything through insurance to how long they have held onto money that is rightly mine.

when I went to the er they were very pleasant and answered all my questions. They are a great bunch and we are so lucky to have them here in Houlton Maine

They are causing a pandemic among those whom work in the healthcare and the public. The stores are running out of soap paper towels toiletries and the older population who can’t get to the store are now without.
