I work in healthcare and the staff here is clueless. Sent referral for an 8 yr old to have postnasal space Xray 2 months later parents had not heard anything back. Resent the referral to be done urgently before scheduled appointment. Called to see if it was done and transferred to imaging. Whoever works the phones in imaging is completely unprofessional and pretty much straight up told me he could not help me. Tried to transfer me to scheduling to get an answer but the phone hung up because he doesnt have a clue what he is doing. Called scheduling. After going through this whole process I am finally told that they do not schedule Xrays they are walk in appointments apparently. So what did you do with our URGENT referral? Just throw it away?? Would it hurt to take a minute out of your day to call us up to let us know this is the case? 1 star because I cant give less. Customer service and competency in this hospital are terrible.

Small regional emergency room under bankruptcy operation. Excellent laboratory and radiology available.Very friendly staff. Treatment of minor illnesses and transfer of serious health problems to either Bangor or Portland larger hospitals while stabilizing patients before transport. Well equipped and skilled physician and nursing staff round the clock.

Special recognition to the staff This team took excellent care of me. In the ER Dr. Orlando Dr. Brasier Diana Cole Dee Jen Theresa Darcy PA student and the two high school students who took my vitals. On the floor Crystal Maureen Becca Dr. Elizabeth. In the OR Anne Ray Mike Michelle and the surgeon I dont know how to spell his name.They took excellent care and interest in my case. It was more than just medical care they took their time with me. They were interested in my being well. I was checked on but yet left to rest.I will say on my second visit of the 3 to the ER it took for us to get to the bottom of what was happening someone might want to review the care I received that night. It wasnt necessarily the care it was the attitude. I went in the middle of the night and was repeatedly shamed by the nurses PA and the CT scan technician for not giving antibiotics time to work...lets just say THAT wasnt the problem. Im so glad I went back the 3rd time. Thats when I really got to see what this team can do. Thank you so much.
