Stephen Rodrigue's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rodrigue replaced my right knee 7 weeks ago and I am very pleased with my mobility and the flexion I now have. My pain was very well managed after surgery and during my recovery. I have minimal residual swelling and scar. Dr. Rodrigue has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time to answer all questions. I am so pleased I found this excellent orthopedic surgeon and his group.

Dr. Rodrigue replaced my left knee in March 2022. I am so pleased with the outcome. My pain was very well managed. My recovery went smoothly with minimal swelling and only a faint scar. I am thrilled with my improved balance and return to flexibility. Dr. Rodrigue has a great team and a wonderful bedside manner. My questions always answered, I felt supported in every way.

Dr Rodrigue is so good it felt like I got a bionic hip when he did my hip, that's how much I like him!

The knee replacement surgery I had in 2016 was done by Dr. Rodrigue who was recommended by my physical therapist at Riverview in Yarmouth. My family and I could not be more satisfied by this choice and with the follow-up appointment. If I need a second knee done, I will be sure to make an appointment with Dr. Rodrigue. He is personable and caring... exactly what I appreciate when undergoing surgery. Were there 6 stars available, I would click on 6.

Dr. Rodrigue and his entire practice are phenomenal. After a decade of patellar dislocations and multiple corrective surgeries, I elected to have a total knee replacement in my mid-40s. Dr. Rodrigue and his team did a fantastic job and within 2 weeks of surgery I am already in much less pain and making strong improvements every day. He has given me the gift of mobility back! From my initial appointment, day of surgery, follow up visits and in-home physical therapy the entire experience has been very positive. Dr. Rodrigue clearly cares about his patients, their outcomes and loves what he does. I have never seen him without a warm smile on his face. He and his PAs, nurses and technicians spend time explaining every step of the process to make sure patients are fully prepared for surgery and recovery. While I am hoping that I don't need another knee replacement, if I do he will be my first call!

My office visit was a 2nd time visit to Dr Rodrigue for the purpose of scheduling a knee replacement. The office visit went well and he understood we were leaving for Florida the end of October so when he brought me to the front desk he told the office personnel I needed to be scheduled sooner because of leaving end of October she informed me I would hear from the scheduler which happened 2 weeks later only to be informed the earliest date was in January. Had I been told that up front from the beginning when I was first trying to even make an appointment as this was my 3rd office visit for the same issue I would have looked for another physician as I need surgery now because of the pain. Am now going to see another surgeon. Essentially w

First rate in all respects. Should have done it years before.

Dr. Rodrigue was fine up until a complication with one of his hip replacements. He then ignored the pain for 11 months, finally ordering lab work after we insisted that he pay attention. The labs found a staph infection that had been likely brewing since the initial surgery. The devastation was a long horrible nightmare, including one procedure and inappropriate discharge which resulted in sepsis. Finally switched surgeons and thankfully found a brilliant one who spent 5 and a half hours in a surgery cleaning up Rodrigue's infectious mess and broken femur. Dr. Rodrigue presents himself as "the guy everyone goes to with complications". He needs to check his ego and refer out because he has caused great harm. Oh, and the six total surgeries come with a stack of medical bills. So there's that.

I recently had my right knee replaced by Dr. Rodrigue and his team and cannot say enough good things about him and his team. The office staff is lovely and helpful, his MAs and PAs are just wonderful and professional. Any calls to his office were answered in a timely manner. Dr.Rodrigue himself is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I was given all the information I needed before surgery and what to expect after surgery as well and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Being a nurse for over 30 years I have to say I would absolutely and with no hesitation recommend Dr. Rodrigue and his team for their and compassion, and knowledge.

Dr. Rodrigue's recommended surgery has greatly improved my quality of life. Due to military wear and tear, I had bone-on-bone pain that kept me from enjoying life. Other Ortho doctors told me I needed complete knee replacements, but I was too young. Dr. R advised me to pursue partial knee replacement. Additionally he replaced my arthritic right hip. When my home care physical therapist looked at me, he said, 'I can tell right away who did your surgery - Dr. Rodrigue's patients heal faster and their wounds look better'. I can't understate how much better life is for me since those three surgeries. Friends are amazed at how quickly I have healed and how much better I walk. I would strongly recommend Dr. Rodrigue and his team to anyone considering knee or hip replacement.
