Never bothered with an appointment. After a multiple attempts to determine how to get relief with my PCP and then two additional ER visits for extreme pain not addressed with meds, the ER put in a CLEAR referral to CM Gastro. Several calls over a two week time span theu indicated they were still waiting for a referral. I repeatedly emailed my discharge paperwork which included a clear referral to them. They finally decide to tell me they will NOT accept a referral from anyone except my PCP. Mt insurance requires no referrals, theu have a referral on file. Refuse to assist. I called my PCP and told them to send a referral elsewhere. Appointment scheduling should NOT be delayed due to source of referral as long as it is a MEDICAL facility ESPECIALLY when my insurance dies not even require a referral. Will avoid this place like the plague for their inability to assist patients in need and their complete lack of communication.
After several visits, the doctor had not found anything of any value. They convinced me it was vitally important that I take a test from Commonwealth Diagnostics in order to make a diagnosis. I told the doctor that I couldn't afford a copay and I was PROMISED by the doctor that it would be 100% fully covered by my insurance and that the test was vital. I told the doctor in no uncertain terms DO NOT order the test if there would be a copay and that I didn't want to do it. The test came back inconclusive, and now I'm finding out that it wasn't covered by my insurance. I am disabled and on a fixed income, and now I'm being charged hundreds of dollars that I cannot afford and did not want. Ultimately I went to the emergency room and found out that I had very many gallstones and needed emergency surgery or else it would quickly become life threatening. Several visits over several months to the specialist only for them to fail to find something life threatening that, according to the surgeon was "day one stuff" and took him about 15 minutes to diagnose. Then there's the matter of lying to my face about insurance coverage on an insignificant test that is now costing me money I can't afford. What an absolute disgrace. If you value your health and your life, do not come here, because the doctors and staff here seem to care more about sending you to their friends for unnecessary tests than they do about diagnosing problems.
I recently went in for a routine colonoscopy. I had never been ih the hospital for anything. I was so nervous. The doctor and whole team made me feel so comfortable which made my whole experience not so bad. Thank you to all of your for making me feel comfortable, for your great personalities, great team work and making my whole hospital experience a good one! :)
Dr. Stein just cares about money not his patients. Avoid him at all costs
Very upsetting to be in the waiting room and hear private conversations between doctors and patients.
Brian Monzel is an amazing doc nurse and is very thorough patient takes his time with patients. He was actually my old primary at internal med cmmc.. was good to see him..highly recommend.. i know he cares and is passionate about what he does and cares for his patients
Have tried to get an appointment with their office for several weeks but can't get any response. I am a new patient. What is the problem with CMMC that you can't reach a doctors office, all calls end up at an outside office and you never get a return call??
Omg, I had to bring my mom here to for an appointment and had the best service. From check in to seeing the doctor, who was amazing. And the check out. Everyone was amazing. Friendly, really felt so comfortable with all of them. They have a great staff there. Thank you again for all your help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
