I want to sincerly thank and commend Dr. Mark Hirschhorn of York County Urology, Biddeford Maine, for taking the time to treat me after several visits to other doctors. He was instrumental in my diagnosis, treatment and recovery. He was kind , caring, concerned and even called me at home the next day to inquire about how I was feeling. I am so impressed ,grateful and will continue to use their service.

Dr. Hirschhorn is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He is no nonsense, His work has been impeccable, I've had multiple procedures with him, and he's been fantastic with every one.

I believe wholeheartedly in Dr. Hirschhorn as my urologist. I have an aggressive prostate cancer, and after consulting with him AND a radiation doctor, at first I chose radiation. Dr. Hirschhorn then counseled me as to the difference between surgery & radiation. With my type of prostate cancer, radiation was NOT the right decision. I am so glad I listened to him. Now with follow-ups, my cancer is in remission one year after treatment. And my options are better if it does come back.
