My grandfather was 87 at the time. In the health care industry, it is common to hear "oh he is old" or "I don't know if he can make it because he is a weak old man". Dr. Russell calculated that a surgery for him was possible. He performed it quickly and effectively. He was compassionate, he was intelligent, and his intuition was correct. He went in and checked on his intestines looking for perforations and fixed what was needed. He is kind, he is considerate, and I respect him as a doctor. Thank

Dr. Russell is very skilled and just a wonderful human being. He is humerous and puts his patients at ease. He is always available and even visited me at 2 oclock in the morning when I had an unexpected complication. He pushed me on a stretcher himself and stayed with me for a test. He is the best and the only surgeon that I would ever go to! He is also wonderful to work with as a nurse!

Since I not only saw Dr. Russell for the first time, but the second visit included in-office surgery, then my review includes my remark that his work is of the highest caliber. He has a very caring nature and is extremely thorough in speaking with you. On top of being professionally as close to perfect as I would hope to find, he has a perspective and sense of humor that are very rarely found among those in medicine. In my fifty some years of medical difficulties, he's among the best of the doctors I have had the fortune to see.
