Christopher Steen is a brilliant doctor for his expertise in identifying skin problems and in carrying out treatment. He is a very serious and efficient doctor. The reason for the 5 stars is that he is extremely careful during examination with magnifying glass and alcohol pad, to keep things clean. He sends suspicious-looking spots to a lab, if needed. His office waiting room is always busy. He is trustworthy without doubt, and we would highly recommend Dr. Steen.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Steen for some years. We are both extremely pleased: Dr. Steen is very thorough; his follow-up is dependable; he is friendly and approachable if you have questions; and we have complete confidence in his care.

Dr Steen gives a very thorough exam. It is very difficult to get an appointment, even though he says to come in right away with a suspicious growth, his office refuses to book it and you may have to wait 4- 8 months, depending on the office location before you can get in to see him. The Biddeford office is courteous, the Portland office rude. The system of appointment notification is poor - you best be computer savvy. I recommend the doctor but not the bureaucratic office.

Professional, good bed side manner. Genunine concern. Even sent certified letter of importance of follow up. Took care of problem. Hoping to continue to have him as ongoing MD, but no longer takes Aetna Insurance.
