Ivan Cardona listens to you and he never in rush like most physicians

Made appt for Manchester Office. 2 days before appt. rec'd confimation for appt. for Portland. Found out Manchester office closed. Office never called to notify us. If we had not picked up on change of location on appt. notification we would have gone to Manchester.

My daughter has had Dr Cardona as her allergist for a few years now and he is the BESTEST! Always spends as much time with us as needed to answer questions and is very thorough in his explanations of anything I ask. Great sense of humor and not too bad to look at either lol! Highly recommended!!

I was very surprised that I didn’t feel like I was being brushed off like I more often do with other doctors, he took the time to listen to my concerns, and explained his thoughts on the matter very clearly. He than proceeded to have specialty testing done to ensure that there wasn’t ANY kind of underlying issue, which no other doctor has done yet, they would just throw meds at me and tell me that they didn’t know, but would do next to nothing to try to figure it out, doctor cardona pretty much had it narrowed down to two possibilities by the end of the appt which was very relieving to see that someone ACTUALLY listened. Office is not managed well. Must wait forever for appointments. Waiting room does not have stuff to keep kids busy and you wait and wait. The doctor seems fine but appointments feel rushed.

The office management is terrible. Very hard to get an appointment. Not much in the waiting room to keep kids busy while you inevitably wait and wait to see the doctor. Always feel rushed along when we are here. The doctor seems fine. but I cannot recommend this office at all.

He his beyond aloof and dangerously under informed. When our son just barely passed his baked milk challenge we were trying to talk with him about how we proceed at home with helping to safely expose him to more baked dairy. He word for word told us "He'll be fine-just don't feed him a deep dish pizza." We were floored and shocked. He took non of our questions seriously and had little to no information about any research findings we brought up.

I have a high level of trust for Dr. Cardona. Working through a maze of specialists and problems, he is able to take in other doctors' opinions and recommendations while respectfully making his own assessment. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Cardona is excellent. After going through multiple hospitalizations with my son for asthma we saw Dr. Cardona and my son has not been hospitalized since. He always listen to us, follow up afterwards, and makes you feel like he really cares about your problem. We love him!

Dr. Cardona is my daughter's allergist (she has a severe peanut allergy). He is very thorough and always takes his time in answering our questions. He also has a very sweet bedside manner with my child, who at just 6 isn't terribly fond of skin and blood testing. She likes him a lot and really likes nurse/assistant Rebecca. I would highly recommend Dr. Cardona to anyone.
