List of Kathryn Wadland's Reviews
I have found her ethics to be lacking. She may be a nice person but if she knew someone was slandering you, instead of telling the you she assists in resolving the situation at the expense of the victim.
I don't usually go out of the way to write reviews unless I had a truly bad experience but today is the first time I want to express my absolute satisfaction... I came hrs early to appointment and was still able to be seen by my nurse she made extra time for me for it to be more convenient for me. She was very helpful and educated me through the process her name was Haley and I give her 5 stars!!!!! Best appointment experience I've ever had.
I don't usually go out of my way to leave a bad review, but I've had a horrible experience. It started in the beginning when I couldn't get a hold of anyone in the office to schedule my first appointment when I first found out I was pregnant. After two weeks and multiple messages left, I called my primary care doctor and asked them what I should do. They called AAW and sent a referral and I FINALLY got a call back. At my first appointment, they did an official blood test to determine that I was really pregnant. They called at the very end of the day and said "We have your results!" and when I called back, the office was closed 15 minutes early and the answering service wouldn't forward me along. Then with my genetic testing. Online the lab company said "Your doctor has your results! They will be giving you a call" I patiently waited all day, and again, they called at the end of the day, so I had to wait an extra day to hear the results (and then I couldn't get ahold of them the next day, ended up finally getting ahold of someone at 4:45pm) meaning I had to wait an extra 48 hours to hear my important test results. Same with my gestational diabetes results. On the Northern Light Portal it said they were in, and yet I get a message saying "You've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes" at 5:30pm on a Friday night, so I go all weekend wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do. I get a call back Monday and they schedule a follow up appointment to discuss what's next. Now today, I head to that appointment with my toddler because I couldn't find anyone to watch him and I knew it was going to be a short appointment. As toddlers do, he had a tantrum out the door. I showed up 11 minutes late to my appointment and was very apologetic. They informed me that their cut off was 10 minutes and that I would need to reschedule. This was at 9:45am and they offed me an appointment at 11:30. I had other appointments so I couldn't take it. I explained to the receptionist that I was in my third trimester, I only had 10 weeks to go, I was in a lot of pain, I JUST got diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and I had just drove 40 minutes out to this appointment. There was no leeway and they were very rude and short with me. They also promised me that I would see every doctor before delivering, but I only met one at my very first appointment (Dr. Anderson. She seemed nice, I will say that) but the rest of the time it was Ashton Pierce, who was constantly brushing off any concerns I had, forgetting to give me my gestational diabetes drink so I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment and make another trip out, and not keeping me informed of anything going on with my own body. I called the office manager before writing this review to see if she would make it right. All she did was defend their policy and that I could have taken the 11:30 appointment time. I am not impressed, so here I am writing this review. I have a history of high blood pressure, and have gone out of my way to make sure I lay low. Funny how it's my DOCTORS OFFICE that is causing me to walk out of the office crying and stressed out. Long story short, I do not trust these people to deliver my baby. They care more about policy than you and your baby. I do NOT recommend.
Dr. Wadland has been an absolute gift in my life. She was the first GYN to finally listen to me and my concerns, and actually take them seriously. Turns out I was living with serious undiagnosed endometriosis. Two surgeries later, and many tears and laughs, I trust her to the absolute fullest. Dr. Wadland always takes the time to listen, understand, and find the best course of action for me. She is never dismissive of any feelings or concerns, and she supports me in making informed decisions based on my own needs. As someone who has always coped with chronic pain, it's a rare gem to find a doctor who is truly patient centered. I'm grateful to have found Dr. Wadland.
Dr. Wadland is wonderful! She was always so calm and cool when we met and took the time to answer EVERY question I had. When I walked into the hospital for my c-section I was greeted with a big hug from Kay and was told to make a great playlist for the operating room because it was going to be a great day! I have an adhesive allergy and she took extra time to put in very close stitches to avoid steri-strips. My experience with All About Women was great!
This doctor is the best to find! She always there for her patients and their health! I would recomend Dr.Wadland to everybody! Perfect health care delivery!!!
I am very thankful that Dr Wadland was my obgyn during my pregnancy and delivery. She is open, honest, a great listener and 100% committed. She was extremely supportive of my birth plan which made my pregnancy and the delivery of my second child the most fun and joyful time in my life. I would recommed Dr. Wadland to anyone.
I met Kay when my original doctor couldn't make my appointment due to an emergency. I requested to switch to her as we immediately understood one another, she listened attentively and put me to ease. I was to be a first time mom and was basically freaking out! She helped me through the pregnancy and delivery and I never once felt any confusion as she kept me well informed of the progress, progress of the delivery and kept me at ease. I have since followed her to a new practice where she will help me prepare in planning for my next pregnancy.
Dr. Wadland is now with the Women's Wellness Comprehensive Care clinic on Ocean Ave., not Casco Medical Group. She was fantastic- probably the most attentive and educational doctor I've had. Great listener. Very down to earth. Comfortable office. Spent a couple of extra minutes getting to know me. All around- it was an excellent experience!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
