I was referred to this provider after visiting Portland Gastro and having some procedures. Dr. Branda proceeded to brush off every issue I brought up, and asked "why I was even there if I had seen a GI Dr. previously? If they couldn't help you how can I? Maybe you can't be helped." This was before I brought any issues up! He blamed nearly everything on my weight (and mentioned weight loss 4 times in my note, which seems excessive). When I was able to later review the office note fully, he had downplayed EVERY issue I brought up in the appt. Unpleasant demeanor from start to finish. I immediately requested a referral elsewhere.

I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and had a CT scan the day before Thanksgiving. Because of the holiday and the weekend, I did not expect to get the results until the following week. Dr. Branda called Thanksgiving morning to let me know it hasn't spread. I really appreciate that he gave us the results right away & on a holiday, no less.
