I was recently there for 5 days from surgery. The whole staff was very friendly especially since I have never been in the hospital over night. I was on the 7 th floor. Want to thank my CNAS and RNS that I had you were all awesome especially Bridgette . Thank You All. Stay Safe

Visited the ER for abdominal pains. The staff was extremely rude. Upon checkin the nurse after explaining my abdominal pains. Says Why are you here. When I finally get into a room the Drresident comes in and speaks with me. Decides to do a ultrasound of my abdomen. Only he didnt understand the machine It kept shutting down mid exam on him. So he concludes theres nothing wrong with me. I look at my discharge paper and it states nothing was seen on the ultrasound. The freaking Dr could not figure out how to use the machine Also handwritten on my paperwork was There does not appear to be an emergency today. Well guess what two weeks later I was in the ER again went to York Hospital this time. Same pains and they quickly examined me and told me I had appendicitis. What a joke Maine Medical is. Seriously I was not billed properly and someone hand wrote a note on my discharge paper. Place is a disgrace

some of the ways they can improve is by having the 4th floor night nurses drug tested they were terrible to one of my family members and i was highly upset

I do not recommend this medical facility because the 4th floor night shift nurses are putting patients at risk and should be drug tested.

The facility is very clean. However the nurses definitely aren’t The 4th floor nurses one nurse in particular looked high as a kite on the job and smelled of marijuana. This nurse name is Natalie. No patient safety protocols seems to be followed as this nurse not only didn’t wash her hands but put an I.V in my mother’s arm without gloves on. This person should not be taken care of any patients. I am absolutely disgusted and would never want any of my family to go here if all of the nurses are like the one who took care of my mother

The nurses in labor and delivery are outstanding at what they do. They made my labor and delivery an amazing experience and provided excellent care.

I recently had a relative who needed MMC care and cannot say anything but that care there is exceptional. It includes Drs nurses and all the admin staff. Thank you
