Recently I had to go to the ER at the new Mercy Hospital at Fore River. I consider myself lucky to have Dr Diamant to take care of me. Not only is she smart, she is kind, considerate, compassionate, with a terrific bedside manner. She does not rush you listens to what you say without making you feel like she can only give you 5 minutes of her time. She was in and out of my room several times . She made sure I was comfortable and as free of pain as possible. She treated me not like just as illness but as a person who was very ill. This area needs more like her and I hope she will remain in practice in the Portland area. I would like to have her as my personal Dr, we need more like her. The nurses were also very caring, attentive and skilled. This was a very positive experience and if needed I would not hesitate to return there again. Thank you Dr Diamant, the nurse who cared for me and the xray tech and the kind lady who did my cat scan..thank you all so very much for the care you gave me.
