I would recommend Dr Entel to anyone! He is an Amazingly smart man, Always listens to everything you say ask or answer any questions you may have. ?? I am GREATFUL for people like him who actually do their job, and appreciates his patients back! Ty for all you do Doc.
The most kindess, professional doctor I've EVER met. 100% A+++
Dr Enter is a phenomenal doctor!!!
I'm coming back years later to tell my story of Richard Entel. While visiting Martins Point he was my primary care physician and I was seeing him for Chronic pain syndrome and he was very rude and told me to my face he did not believe me that I was in pain. I had to beg him to even hear me out and he treated me like I was lying and just trying to get out of work but I was clearly sick and in distress and in cirsis. He clearly did not care nor have time for me and told me my only option would be to go to a pain clinic and that Medical Marijuana would not help which I had inquired about. Let me say this visit devastated me and sent me down a path of deeper depression not trusting most docs for years! After all of this I got a letter from Dr. Entel saying he is not longer my doctor at martins point and now works in the Pain clinic at Mercy Hospital. Normally I don't leave reviews of doctors but this has been such a bad experience effecting me years later... I must share.

Dr. Entel is the Best Doctor I've ever had the pleasure of working with, he is super supportive and he cares about his patients. He's just awesome.
Personable, wise and very helpful.
Great Doctor! He no longer practices on the island of Vinalhaven but when he left I would guess 95% of us hated to see him leave. He is professional, knowledgable, and quick to get you in for needed tests, referrals, or what have you. He is also prompt in getting back to you with the results of tests etc. I think he is in or near Augusta and if I lived off island, he would be my first choice for sure.
Rich Entel is the most wonderful doctor Maine has ever seen. He is compassionate and conscientious.
Great Doctor, sorry he left the island. Many of us wish he were still here. we wish you would consider coming back but good luck with future endeavers.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
