List of Wesley Fairfield's Reviews
Dr Fairfield is one of the smartest Doctors that i know. I have worked with a lot of Doctors being a RN. He treats my Thyroid. I drive almost 2 hours for my appointments. It is worth it !
Very thorough and understandable! A wonderful contrast to the elusive MMC physician I had been to in the Spring! A terrible experience!!!
This doctor is horrible! Why is he still in practice?? Horrible bedside manner, talks down to you. Mercy Endo, what are you doing over there? Patients are not getting the help they need! Wish I could give it 0 stars.
Bad Doctor. Should not be in practice.
Dr. Fairfield was not helpful at all. I left his appointment feeling unheard, judged, and completely defeated.
Arrogant and bad mouthed my NP for sending me to him because I have thyroid nodule. I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis which increases my cancer risk. He did a needle biopsy and it was inconclusive, but had some concerning aspects . Asked me to wait six months to see him again. Went to my ENT instead of waiting 6 months. She immediately ordered a CT scan. Numerous calcifications on my thyroid which are concerning for possible cancer. Having Thyroid surgery soon. I would not recommend him at all. A Big thank you to my NP and ENT.
Dr Fairfield talks at you - not with you... he only wants to prescribe medications HE likes... not what works for you
Completely unprofessional. Dismissed the referring provider's treatment and accused them of malpractice. Accused the radiologist of not knowing what they were talking about. Did not listen to my concerns and was extremely arrogant. I would never recommend anyone see him.
Friendly. I felt comfortable confiding in him.
Fairfield seemed nice at first until he pressured me into having my thyroid out. I was having kidney stones frequently(every 6 months for a couple of years) and was told by Fairfield that if I had my thyroid out I would be guaranteed to not develop another stone because the thyroid controlled the formation of stones. Having experienced the incredible pain associated with passing a stone, I agreed. What a mistake! He never informed me I would be on thyroid meds for life, nor did he tell me there might be a chance I might be THE one in 500 that would continue to develop stones! So, when I had another stone surgery months later he just laughed and said I guess you were that ONE! I guess he needed to provide the hospital with a, what, $30-40 thousand dollar operation? What a joke he is. And, I trusted him and thought he knew what he was doing...apparently not. He is no longer at the hospital I first went to him as a doctor. So, beware and get a second opinion!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
