List of Alhassan Badahman's Reviews
I have seen a few pulmo/ critical care docs in the last 20 years since I had Hodgkin's disease and my lung collapsed. I have had a really good doc in the past, but had to change because of insurance. This is the 1st doc that actually allowed me to walk with a pulse oximeter on to see that my O2 dips when I move. He listened to my requests. He also read the details of my history and acknowledged some other problems I have with my vocal chords (ignored by some previous docs). This is the 3rd time I have been to this office, but only the 1st time seeing Dr. B.
First visit he had no interest in my concerns or questions. It was as if I was bothering him by being there. For the second appointment he wasn't there for it but his office staff was kind enough to offer me a another appointment over a month later. I left the office immediately, but I get the feeling I'll be billed for a "no show" appointment. This place is shady.
I was assigned to Dr. Badahman after a full code incident. 2 Sleep studies (at his facility) performed - no sleep apnea, but O2 dropped into the 80s several times so O2 ordered for sleeping. While waiting for his office to set that up, O2 dropped to 78 WHILE IN HIS OFFICE - O2 delivered to my home within hours. No diagnosis given, but strong weaning dose of steroids prescribed and 24 hr O2 for 2 weeks. Dr. Badahman hasn't been seen since. I was asked to reschedule my appt, so I did for 2 more weeks. I asked if I was supposed to stay on O2 or wean off. "I don't know you can see Dr Choudry". He made it painfully clear that my records weren't reviewed and he really wasn't interested. Made another appt to see Dr. Badahman on 13th of this month. Still on 24/7 O2. Cardiologist recommended I see someone else immediately and set it up. Dr. B'S ofc never sent med recs, over 20 errors in them. Today they called to resch again. Still on O2 no diagnosis. Terrible care. Not safe imo.
have had two appointments with this Dr. at the Chandler office, both times I arrived early and waited for over an hour after my appointment time, will find another Dr. for future
Great pulmonary doctor, very knowledgeable I highly recommend Dr Badahman
Excellent
I can not believe how unhelpful and rude this man was. I am livid at the way he treated me. After waiting over an hour he spent less than 5 minutes with me, every question I asked was returned with a "don't know " or "you should ask your other doctor" or even.. "why would you ask me that?" I went to see him for his pulmonary specialty, apparently he has none.
Would never recommend. Dr spent less than 5 minutes with me each time and had not read my records well at all. He Ordered several tests but never told me test results except one item on one test. I was extremely angry when I took my records back and left the office. Found another Dr who is wonderful thank goodness.
I had Valley Fever and it took him 3 months to diagnose it correctly. I learned more about my illness doing research about it online. He might be a good Pulmonologist but not very good with Valley Fever Patients. I love when doctors who have never had the illness try to tell you it shouldn't hurt in certain places. Go swallow some fungus and tell me how lovely it feels!
Excellent pulmonologist/cardiac doctor. Very good with procedures and patients. Very knowledgeable, friendly and not in a hurry to get you out the door. Returns your phone calls, and takes care of you. His wife is annoying though...if you have to stay in ICU....but EXCELLENT Doctor...Rebecca his secretary is great too....

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
