With the help of Mrs. Kelly Robert, She is the best account manager on Forex and Binary, she's helping me to make huge profits. Our mom was admitted after going to the ER, the nurses and Dr's on duty were all awesome, she was scared that she was going to get transferred to Lewiston and was crying, she had a bad experience in Lewiston in the past, they were very sympathetic and understood, they got her a room as soon as one was available, they made sure she was comfortable in the mean time, after they got her a room, all the nurses and Doctors took excellent care of her, thank you all to the Rumford Hospital staff, you are all the best!
This place is always extremely efficient when it comes to getting you in and out within a very timely manner! The staff is always extremely kind as well!
waited 5 and a half hours in the er when theres nobody else here. especially when we only needed a simple fix. wish we would’ve gone somewhere else. this is inhumane and disrespectful. this place needs more staff or shut down entirely.
Therapy was less than helpful unless you wanted rxtra pain from disresctful people and not once asked about my health goals. Aides were good and more helpful than OT staff.
My first visit to an ER in 20 years. It was a good experience with caring professional people, although they don't do all procedures (like biopsies). They also fed me at the end of the day (and it was good food)!
After being in a bad car accident where I was hit from behind at 35mph, two days after the accident the pain was worse so I went to the Emergency room foe some relief, I was given 2 doses of pain medication but told at my discharge that I would not be prescribed anything for pain. I can hardly move and am in severe pain. The doctor told me he wouldn't give me pain meds because there is an epidemic. Well in my opinion, this hospital contributes to the epidemic by sending people who are clearly in severe pain home to go to the streets to get pain relief. THANK YOU FOR TREATING ME LIKE AN ADDICT
The entire staff at the Rumford hospital emergency center were excellent. When I arrived at the emergency room as a walk in patient I got in immediately. I have gone to larger hospitals and waited hours to see someone. During my nearly four hour stay I was seen by approximately seven staff and ALL were kind and compassionate. Staff checked in often to see how I was doing and constantly gave me updates on when I would receive test results and what those results were. Being in the health industry is a very tough job! I commend all of these folks for their service. Several employees were traveling medical care workers and I enjoyed talking to them about their travels and where they were from. One nurse had just graduated and was telling me about her experiences during covid and how difficult that was. Again thanks to all of the staff at the Rumford emergency room .... you guys were wonderful!
if youre a woman you have better chances if you just dont go in at all. all of the male staff are extremely dismissive and will outright call you hysterical and laugh at you. some of the nurses will completely ignore you and say youre making up your pain. if you go in saying what you think you have they'll get annoyed and not listen to you at all. the only somewhat good experience i had was with a female doctor and even she couldnt give me any answers at all. i know multiple women who stepped in this hospital and were dismissed or ignored and it cost them their lives. completely preventable deaths. meanwhile a man can come in with gout pain and get opiates within 2minutes . if there was any other hospital in the area i would never step foot in this one and thats a fact
My rating stands. I've done nothing to deserve such terrible behavior, from specialty care at Rumford Hospital. Do better. I took a picture, of my previously posted review, for my records. Best of luck to you all. I don't write bad reviews when things go well and people are professional and respectful, in regards to the business and profession in question, as you can see in my other 72 reviews. Proper help and professionalism at a hospital should be an automatic expectation. If 1400 people viewed this prior review and only three thumbed it up. It would seem the behavior was deliberately directed towards me. My question is why? I don't know any of you and none of you know me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
