Very pleased
Had my eyes tested. The employees were great. In and out done within a hour. Thank you all.
Extremely pleasant experienceThey were professional and accommodating. I had something stuck in my eye for 3 weeks before I called them. They saw me immediately and resolved the problem. I am legally blind and have a lot of experience in eye exams rooms. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you AEC. STAFF.
Bad business practices rude office staff who can barely speak on a phone and a rude office manager. I’ve been with AE for well over a decade and never had any issues until last week. I was having eye pain last week and went in to address the pain with my doctor. I didn’t request a contact exam as I had been wearing glasses for some time. Upon being examined last week they did the contact exam anyways without asking if I wanted it or telling me it was being done. I called today for my glasses prescription to order new glasses and was informed I have a $40 outstanding charge after I just paid off another $86.. and my prescription could not be released without paying. I advised that I never asked for the exam and was told it was just given because I’ve worn contacts previously. These people are genuinely charging me for a service I never asked for nor did I want nor was I informed of. The woman on the phone offered to allow me my prescription without payment but only my glasses script however Ive been waiting 5 hours and still have not recieved it. So now Ive undergone multiple unneeded eye tests and they won’t even give me both prescriptions and want me to pay for an exam I never asked for. Ridiculous.update I Left a message with office manager Julia about the way I was spoken to and recieved a call back. In the voice message the office manager left me she genuinely has the audacity to ask why I think I should get the exam free when Ive paid a fee before ... I NEVER ASKED FOR AN EXAM? I went in for eye pain. These people are nuts.
The best place ever😀😁
They made me feel like I was going blind.Than nothing to worry about.I was sent home.I get a call to hurry to the hospital. But I didnt have a driver that they said I verymuch needed. So they told me they will have to call me back that was on I think a Tuesday.Since I did not get a call back l called them.I got the answering service. They are closed for two weeks. So I am setting thinking I can lose my eye siteNo one there for two weeks.I chose to go to another place that doesnt go away for two weeks
I love all of the staff and doctors here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The kind of people to go way above and beyond what is required to make sure that you get everything you need. They have a HUGE selection of glassses and accept many different insurance companies.
Been going here since I was a kid. Everyone is great and the doctors are awesome as well.
I was visiting Sanford Maine over Christmas and one of my grandsons broke an earpiece off my glasses during a wrestling match My fault Hes 4 12 and Im 66. Hes definitely tougher than I am. A very accommodating young man in the eyeglass sales area repaired my glasses within minutes and then wouldnt accept payment for his service. I was stunned by his generosity. If I lived in Sanford I would deal with no other eyeglass provider. These folks have mastered the art of advertising through proven consumeroriented service. Thank you Associated Eyecare

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
