I was compelled to write to tell how completely satisfied I was with the results of the 3 level stenosis “cleanup “ surgery on DEC. 16th. I was given the green light to start skiing again the 2nd week of January, and I have gone 23 times thus far, sometimes going 9-4 even, with just a lunch break. I don’t even think about a back issue anymore (other than the stiffness with arthritis). You nailed this diagnosis + treatment! After 6 months of pain and not being able to do anything, I don’t take for granted my mobility anymore. He exceeded my expectations and met my highest hopes. If Dr. Babikian is the Picasso of hip replacements (read that in a review), then you are the Rembrandt of back surgeries. Staff at St. Mary’s day surgeries were superb!

Three visits with him, he asked all the same questions each time and I had all the same answers each time. He didn't even have the decency to tell me he wasn't going to do the surgery. I found out by the woman who answered the phone after she accessed my personal information. She read it to me, so the conclusion was that there was nothing he could do for me! I had X-rays, MRI's, and an EMG. I even saw Dr. Reppel for a procedure which didn't work All of this pain I'm in and there was nothing he could do? All this time was wasted when I could have gone elsewhere. His memory isn't right and I think he's just waiting to retire.

Dr. Agren is very attentive, caring, and makes you feel very comfortable...Does not rush you, and wants to hear anything you have to say, or concerns you may have...I was very pleased with him..

Dr Agren did a spinal decompression on me in 2007 at L4-L5. This resulted in immediate relief from numb legs due to a pinched nerve in my spine. Before: I could walk at most about 400' and then had to sit down and stretch for a while before I could walk a little again. After: I was walking 1-4 miles a day while the incision healed (2-3 weeks) and then I could walk and hike unlimitedly. Then in 2019 Dr. Agren needed to do another spinal decompression on me at L2-L4 because of shooting pain down my left leg after walking about 500'. Same immediate complete cure! I regard it essentially as a miracle. Dr. Agren diagnosed the situation accurately and quickly and did a fine job to rectify the situation

Dr Mats Agren is a wonderful Doctor. He spends a lot of time explaining everything to you and listens to what you have to say! This world should have more Doctors just like him.

I would highly recommend Dr. Agren. He was very patient and listened to all my concerns. I felt he took the time to explain everything to me. He made several recommendations that would help me without surgery. Which I was very grateful for.

Excellent doctor. Took time with me and explained everything I needed to know about my current issues and also recommended exercises to help my problem. I never felt rushed. I was definitely very satisfied with Dr. Agren and so was my husband. I highly recommend him. Office help was very pleasant also. So nice to deal with such great people
