John Kirkham's Online Review Report Card

I had an upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Kirkham on 9/13/22, just after turning 38. I had wanted this procedure since I was a teen (when both my parents had it done) with very hooded eyes genetically. Dr. Kirkham surpassed every expectation for me, from the surgery day to the results. I didn't have general anesthesia, which meant we could talk throughout the procedure, and his is exactly the personality you'd want for that scenario. He explained each step thoroughly and in a straightforward way, but also told some jokes and had music playing which kept me totally at ease. The whole surgery was so quick and painless, it was really shocking. The only discomfort was the injection of local anesthesia. Because I was nervous beforehand, I so appreciated how quickly I was moved into surgery and how fast it was all over. Stitches came out after 6 days, and already, nobody would have known I had a surgery - they looked SO good! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kirkham for this or any surgery!!!

I am so thrilled that I decided to get a breast reduction/lift with Dr. Kirkham. From my first consultation to the final follow up after my surgery I felt cared for and confident with every step. Everyone at Plastic and Hand was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The procedure went exactly as he said it would, and my expectations were far surpassed. It was relatively painless and the recovery was a piece of cake! I am 51 years old and finally have the confidence I’ve always wanted. I can’t thank him and the staff enough!

Truly, I cannot praise Dr. Kirkham’s skill as a surgeon and caring physician highly enough. From my first appointment, through my surgery and recovery, he explained things clearly, put me at ease, and showed great compassion. Without reservation, I would recommend him to friends and family. He is everything you want in a physician.

I was referred to Dr. Kirkham by my pcp for an operation on my neck. I was very satisfied with the results. Plastic and Hand and Dr Kirkham are wonderful from the start to the finish.

I went in for a carpel tunnel procedure and it was one of the most pleasant experiences of my medical history. There was no waiting. I was numbed up and given something to relax me during the event. I was awake and aware while Dr. Kirkham worked. We even spoke. There was nice music playing. I closed my eyes and relaxed and never felt any discomfort at all. It was over before I knew it and my hand was wrapped up nice and secure. I was in there less than 2 hours. I would do it again in a second!

From the time I got the ok for a Breast reduction through my insurance to my surgery was a matter of 3 weeks. I fully trusted Dr. Kirkham and his staff, they answered all my questions from the 1st appointment to the last. They were caring, made sure I was comfortable before and after my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kirkham!!!!
